Yo
Harry Belafonte - Calypso
Pram - North Pole Radiostation
Tram - Lingua Franca
Ensemble Pittoresque - For This Is Past
I'm here.
This was supposed to be my answer in the qt thread:
Ah, I see. Well, for one thing it's "å mote". And for "to get" you can use "skaffe" or "få". "Skaffe" being more powerful in that it kinda means to take but works better in this context than "to take" would in english. "Få" means to get/recieve. Don't know how you ended up with "mote". Infinitives work like that, if I understand you correctly here, but you used the wrong word.
Hvordan kan jeg skaffe meg en kjæreste?
Also, the word "kjæreste" is really amazing I think. In that it's gender neutral. One of my favorite norwegian words together with "dugnad" which mean voluntary work.
For "to eat is good" it would "å spise er godt". "Godt" is correct. The verb "to eat" would be "å spise" not "å spiser". "Spiser" would be the english equal equivalent of "eating". I don't know much about gender of the words and such, sorry. den/denne = that/this For a house it would be "det" because it's a thing (neutral). You could say "fint hus" and point.

there was this girl that i used to be real chill with each other like we went out a few times and then i confessed to her and she rejected me. since then i've been having to see her like every week and watch how what i originally thought was a mutual attraction was really just her personality. so not only do i feel super stupid that i didn't realize this sooner, but i'm super pissed cause i feel like i jumped the gun and confessed too early and i blew a legitimate chance with her just because i was so anxious to get a gf (mind that this was the first time i ever did something like this ever). so now i get super sad like every time i see her and now that the school year is ending and she'll be graduating i feel like i'll be leaving her with this bad taste in my mouth.
sorry i know this isn't my blog but i've had to get this shit off my chest.
...
I can't recommend anything to anyone since I'm a pleb :/
Dude, there are always gonna be more women
And if she's really that important to you, you could always keep contact and ask again when you/she feels more comfortable
>Divine Styler - Spiral Walls

don't be so hard on yourself, you did something that a lot of people don't have the guts to do. i'm sure she respects you for that. also, you got closure in knowing how she feels and you can move on and continue being friends. this too

"Background fuzz is the carpet that
pulls the room together"

i prefer constant chaos, so i cut out the silences in between each track. but the idea of giving the listener some time to gather themselves before the next track hits is something i haven't thought of. probably makes the listening experience easier at first
although i don't fully understand it, chances are the comets in our future is my all-time favorite song lyrically and the layered repetition of them merits the 6 min runtime. only other tracks i found lyrics for was ape oven and ratcreeps and those are great too
appreciate the review, it's fun reading ppl's take on twin infinitives. i honestly don't spend much of my time trying to dissect every element while listening. i enjoy it for the disorienting mess it is. to me it's broken music for broken minds
also, neil's performance on ape oven is one for the ages
Cool. You're welcome. I feel like I spam that album to everyone that got some krautrock on their chart to no response, so I'm glad you liked it.
>Meredith Monk - Turtle Dreams
>Oneida - Absolute II
I have heard both of these. Thanks anyways, I appreciate it.
You're welcome. Hope you like them.
