What's the best music steaming service for someone who's willing to pay $10 a month? Is apple music worth it for someone with an iphone, or is the desktop app ass?

Spotify

What makes it better?

yeah if you want to listen to that new album 24 hrs later . the dust settles fast my friend,

apple music

> cant wait 24 hours

What the fuck is wrong with you?

Just get spotify free and change songs before the ad every time. Sorted.

Sup Forumscore

discovery weekly is legitimately amazing

>24 hours

if you're that desperate just pirate it

> Doesnt know about youtube related videos

>tfw I actually don't

please explain

>get spotify free
>use the web version with adblock

does this still work? it did a year ago

What are the benefits for each service? Apple music gets new music right away. Spotify has better recommendations. Tidal has music videos and an option for lossless. Google includes its ad-free youtube service. Is that it?

it works but the web player is laggy af and media keys don't work with it. Having it for mobile is also really nice

>tfw you don't value music anymore because of streaming
>tfw you don't just sit down and put on an album anymore
>tfw mediocre music and good music all blend into a malaise of scrolling through recommendations and letting the time pass by
Musical gluttony is ruining my life

I don't know if it's possible to steam music, OP.

I mean, I guess you could steam the music sheets or the physical media the music is stored on, but I don't know how you can steam music itself.

Spotify also has lossless, I believe. In the advanced setting somewhere you can change quality from a spectrum up to 'Extreme' iirc

cringe

Nope. Spotify goes from 160kbps to 320kbps

why do you bother

>mediocre music and good music all blend into a malaise of scrolling through recommendations and letting the time pass by

eh it'slightly better than the alternative of killing myself

I used Google Play Music for a time, then switched to Apple Music, now I'm back to Google.
Google Play Music has zero exclusives whatsoever, but iTunes on Windows and the Apple Music Android app are both just abysmal in every way. Not worth the hassle to get some albums a week earlier, even if you can just download them and upload them to Google and have the same effect.
