The Bodines - Played (1992, 320) >jangle pop, c86 >Formed in Glossop in 1985 by vocalist/guitarist Mike Ryan, guitarist Paul Brotherton, bassist Tim Burwood and drummer Paul Lilley (later replaced by John Rowland), they proved popular on Manchester’s live music circuit in the wake of the success of The Smiths, and quickly amassed a solid following, signing to Creation Records. Debut single God Bless was received positively by the music critics, and shortly afterwards, second single Therese, a true Indie classic with its infectious chorus refrain of “It scares the health out of me” delivered by the distinctive, deadpan vocals of Mike Ryan, was featured on the NME’s C86 compilation alongside other newly emerged Indie guitar-driven bands of the time (in an effort by the NME to popularize a new genre), among them Primal Scream and The Wedding Present.
Klaus Schulze's most well known work. Timewind consists of two epics spanning each side of the record as a tribute to composer Richard Wagner. The soundtrack to any sci-fi novel or landscape. As with all of Schulze's work before Moondawn, these tracks were done in a single take, testament to the master.
Contains three bonus tracks: Two short ones and an alternative take of the first track on the record; an even longer version at that at 38 minutes.

Welcome back, jtk! I missed your quality shares. Looking forward to Mahavishnu Orchestra, I've really been digging them lately.

Klaus Schulze - Picture Music (1975) (FLAC) >Ambient, electronica, space, percussion
Two sidelong compositions once again, but each radically different than the other. The first track, Totem, is a very meditative, relaxing piece of ambient music. One of my favorites. The second track, Mental Door, had Schulze experimenting with a phaser that a friend of his had just built and he used it to the extreme. About halfway through it turns into a wild ride of drumming with the noises bouncing off the walls. Sounds like something out of the Doom soundtrack but with more oomf.
Contains one bonus track, a longer take of "Totem."

Wasn't there someone from the previous sharethread who had some Bowie albums?
Camden Bennett
Looking for End Of Earth by Antwon, all the links in the archive are dead
Jeff Buckley - The Music Faucet 11/10/92 >Bootleg of a pretty well known performance on the Music Faucet radio show. The Bootlegger took the original source and remastered it.
Last of the Rykodiscs, then I got two more Bowie albums. I've added them all to a Bowie folder for the pastebin, if anybody's got Scary Monsters & Super Creeps and onwards, please feel free to share them!
>David Bowie - Lodger (Rykodisc Version) [320] >Art Rock, Experimental Rock, New Wave
Thanks, man. You've got amazing shares every time :)
Various Artists - Good God! Born Again Funk (released 2010, 320) >funk, proto-disco, soul, gospel >Unofficially the third entry in our Good God! series of ecstatic worship, Born Again Funk picks up where A Gospel Funk Hymnal leaves off. Yes, the prodigal sons of Thomas Dorsey arrived in there multitudes, only some of them toting fuzzboxes and Fender amps. These are the most devout songs, but done up amid the hot, sweaty, earthy moonshine rhythms downed by any blues singer thumbing his way up north from the Mississippi delta. Born Again Funk hones in on wholly modern vulgarity brought to a joyful strain of American composition, and performers unafraid of expressing their devotion with both inspiration and invention. They were acolytes faithful to a spirit, but never to an ordained sound.
you guys are fucking awesome for reuploading most of bowie's stuff
btw i was able to get my hands on some of king crimson's albums and felt like sharing them, idk if they'll be able to stay up for long but get them while you can
Fun Fact: This was mostly written by the guy from Jellyfish.
Aaron Long
Fun fact: Puffy AmiYumi having a show on Cartoon Network was solely based on the vice president of Cartoon Network, Sam Register, being a fan of the band and offering them a show.
Also, this existed... I remember it fondly and loved every minute of it

>aive - Illuminatis (2012) >atmospheric, prog-metal, post-metal, really comfy sea-based vibe, you'll feel like you're floating in the middle of the pacific ocean in total darkness with no hope of rescue and you're okay with that. french (???)
Possibly the shittiest download site I’ve seen here, though I’ve found worse elsewhere. 28 minutes to download a 342.3 MB file, and the site forbids me from downloading the second file until I have waited 37 minutes.

Herbie Hancock - V.S.O.P >lossless
>live double album featuring different performances with Herbie's newly created VSOP Quintet (essentially Miles' second great quintet but with Hubbard replacing Miles), the Mwandishi band, and the Headhunters. Tracks 1-4 performed by V.S.O.P., Tracks 5-7 performed by Mwandishi, Tracks 8-9 performed by the Headhunters. This album is intended to be a "retrospective" on Herbie's career. >jazz, jazz funk, jazz fusion, post-bop
To those who have never heard Soft Machine before, I would suggest watching the video first, which is a live concert in Paris in 1970. It blew my fucking mind!
/r/ing anything from the Madchester scene, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, the like... and/or anything from the early acid house period. Thanks in advance
Adam Cox
the uploader of the video is being a dick with embedding, so just copypasta the URL in a new tab to watch it

That's super cool

>Breathless - Three Times and Waving >Post-rock, dream pop, shoegaze, post-punk >amazingly underrated album, never see it posted here
the album may not be organized very well. I had to dl every song separately, it took me about half an hour looking for links. The search was well worth the time though

Sakamoto was in Yura Yura Teikoku previously. I've seen people recommend Kate bush, Bjork and Mac demarco. You might like Shibuya-kei music, but I'm not very good at recs.
