What do you use for viewing images on Windows?
What do you use for viewing images on Windows?
I enable the preview pane on the file explorer.
i use quicklook
Honeyview. Nomacs is pretty good too.
irfanview
JPEGView
i open up sony vegas, import it as a still frame and set it to display for 20ish seconds, set it to display on my second screen which is a projector in another room, go that room and replace the bulb then turn on my projector, run back to my room then start the review then run to the projector room before the video stops playing, then i turn the projector off and restart my computer to save ram
mpv
lmao
whatever works for you
nomacs is okay. Frameless looks nice, but I keep it around because it's already installed. Windows photoviewer is probably the best if you just want to look at pictures quickly. It also has colour profile support built in.
jpegview is ideal
ACDSee

Anyone not using honeyview is a pleb of the highest order
Honeyview (and block it in Firewall)
On windows? Impression Eyes.
unironically this
Anyone know how to play .gifs in Windows Photo Viewer on Windows 10?
I think it could play those in XP. But somewhere in between it was disabled.
this, unless it's an animated gif, in which case i use irfanview.
i contacted the developers of acdsee and they reluctantly admitted the fault with displaying certain animated gifs went back to about version 2, and was so deeply entrenched they couldn't fix it.
... block it? why? botnet?
Xnview
i have an .html file in my Images directory that revers to all my images using
I always use my browser to show gifs.
>feelsbadman
IrfanView
Tried nomacs but it's like 4 times slower.
Impression eyes

ArtSage without borders
Picasa photo viewer. The best one out there.
Picasa. Make sure you find the signed executable, the others are malware.
faststone
Honeyview because all the alternatives are trash.

What an unfortunate name for such milkers.
It's a beautiful name, what's wrong?
nomacs. Anything proprietary is shit.
>Anything proprietary is shit
Nice argument, freetards.
I respect my privacy and want my software to do the same. I need my system resources to not waste cycles, memory and network on telemetry/spyware and other pointless shit. I wouldn't trust a gratis but non-open source product since there's no reason for something to be distributed for free, yet not making the source code public at least. The uTorrent and Windows 10 fiasco further confirmed that anyone willingly using closed source freeware is a brain dead retard.
Expanding Brain.jpg
IrfanView, like every other oldfag.
+1 for Irfanview
jpegview. I modified the source to quit gifs instantly instead of pausing them.
Jpegview
this
the same thing i was using on windows 98 - irfanview.
MS Paint
>still uses Windows
The amount of mental gymnastics required must be impressive
Why are you not using the integrated image viewer?
that pile of shit cannot preview PSD files, nor do decent amount of adjustments and batch processing that are unassumingly hidden, yet quickly accessible (irfanvw)
xp version could not even play gifs. i dont know about metro shit thats in 10 (know it has adjustments), but i dont use that creepy cianigger os anymore.
Because the win 10 default picture viewer is a windows app, with shit UI responsiveness..
>still uses Windows
False
nomacs
>xp version could not even play gifs
wrong
Then what are you doing on a thread aimed towards wintards, faggot?
>Impression Eyes.
this. anyone else is either trolling or retarded.
Meant to quote
No gifs. No fullscreen. Slow.
do you remember that image viewer with eye on the green background in logo? Not a faststone.
I use ImageGlass.
The default windows picture viewer is so ridiculously slow to open pictures, it's infuriating. How do they have the gal to publish it? The manager who approved it deserves a good beating.
Windows? srs? You don't mind the NSA seeing what images you're looking at.
pic related
free and open-source Imageglass. Lighter than Nomacs and functional.
ImageGlass
faststone for all images
jpegview for gifs only
mpchc 64 for webms and all other videos
>Nomacs
Yup. No idea what the name means, but it works fine.
nomacs
nomacs frameless is glitchy as all fuck.
jpegview just werks and it's the only one where window frame fits picture instead of the other way around.
linux :^)
acdsee pro 10
this
Irfanview
What does nomacs mean?
First, when we started with the RAW support, the MacBeth color charts mostly did not have the colors expected when we loaded the images in nomacs. Second, we solely supported Windows and Ubuntu in the beginning. At this point we want to thank all the supporters who translate nomacs or build it on other OS.
I take it that's from the about page I didn't bother to read.
Honeyview
Wish it was on linux
I open the curtains
xnview
it's cool because it has some quick editing functions too, if i'm lazy to fire up photoshop
Reposting from /sqt/
What is a good image organizer that has/supports tags & filtering? Preferably linux/windows cross compatible?
