Cool. Do you have a SSD? If you don't, buying one will make your computer feel way faster without having to buy a new kit.
A computer I fixed recently had a first gen i3 and 2GB of RAM. The HDD died, I replaced it with a 120GB SSD from WD and shit's blazing fast now. Yours should be even better because you're running GNU/Linux and have way more RAM.
