I'll drop one in the pot:

Never been a problem for me.
>Sorry! Only members with 25 posts/10 Karma can see links
This has, but usually whatever I am looking for can be found elsewhere.

the forums at hackintosh.zone were the only ones that have forced me to register properly. i legit don't understand the mentality. it's obvious i'm only going to register a throwaway account/shitpost/PM the author/do the minimum necessary to get what i want and then fuck off. why try and force participation?

Throwaway email providers are forbidden.

Your account needs to be approved by an administrator.

Click the "Thank the author" button to see the links.

>An administrator must activate your account
At least ASTOST didn't flake, but that's the only time an administrator ever actually followed up when this kind of bullshit is around.

What I recommend you do is to create a one time email/login/password combination that can be used everywhere. Even if someone hacks you (it probably wont happen its nothing important you can afford to lose it anyways).

Choose a username that is unlikely to be chosen by another person, and remember that some sites require complex passwords with numbers and uppercase letters. For example:

mail: [email protected]
login: nigg0skittl3sXX
pass: !T0pniggraXX

You'll get used to it. I have accounts in HUNDREDS of sites, been doing it for 15 years. Sometimes I come across a forum and I think "don't I have an account here"? Well, I do. Last logged in 7 years ago.

...

Browser password managers exist my dude

hurr durr it's an example you faggot.

Yeah, but you don't always have access to it if you're no another device, and it's annoying to have to use it every time you need it, especially if you chose a good password which should be complex.

Trust me, if you can afford to lose it, it's better to do as I've said.

Fucking rapidgator and a myriad of other shitty hosts.

11 kb/s average speed
7.33MiB file fails to download
Must wait at least 8 hours to try again.

I just use a premium link generator, fuck those cunts.

He swindled millions.

How did he do it lads?

Or search results full of official Microsoft or similar forums and

Clickbait purge when

>looking for something circa mid 2000's
>find forum where they're discussing it
>pm'd you the link ;)

Name one example

Except downloading from google drive is a dumpster fire half of the time
Files hosted on Mega are the shit

bait

Different user here. I have not seen any bad, or ugly-named, or deceptive files on mega anytime I have found a link anywhere online. Obviously this state cannot go on forever, but the people using mega currently are pretty cool, whereas every fuck and their mother uploads all their shit to drive.

forums are fucking garbage
