Unironically Chrome and Edge.
*ironically
Chromium builds with sync/webrtc disabled.
Firefox with the usual about:config privacy enhancements
Qute browser
>chromium-based browsers
GNU Icecat
I unironically use pale moon
I unironically use waterfox but ur probably fine with just firefox, im pretty sure waterfox is just a placebo but i have no reason to change to fire
qutebrowser
The only thing waterfox has that firefox doesnt is XUL support. But everything in firefox can be disabled like in waterfox for privacy. Firefox is faster though and has some extra security features like container tabs.
Just installed this iridiumbrowser.de
Also, now that firefox moved to extensions there will be a lot less support for XUL addons. So eventually all if not most will stop working in the future.
Firecucks completely fucked up their vsync and there's this awful lag on everything now
Werks for me ;^)
$.35 has been deposited into your Open Societies account
Iceweasel and Icecat.
Test it yourself. Shit's broke.
There are no good browsers.
Chrome = Google spying
Firfox = Geroge Soros spying
Opera = Chinese spying
Edge = Microsoft spying
If you're not paying for using a product, you are the product.
>Soros spying
Lol
Also if you actually believe that you can easily disable all the spying yourself.
Prove firefox sends data when everything is disabled on stable or esr. You're so full of shit.
more importantly what addons?
Explorer
only the best
>Soros spying
He has Google for that. If you're scared of firefox, use a proper fork.
Firefox. Of your choices, it’s perhaps the most powerful, versatile and open. It’s worth supporting Firefox for the fact that it’s heavily user modifiable and is at least TRYING to be transparent with their users.
Plus it has similar functionality to Chrome, and honestly, I’d be happy if Firefox became the meme browser in the place of Chrome. Imagine if FOSS became standard for one of the most used pieces of software on the planet
Google Ultron
So if I paid $50 for Google Chrome it should be safe to use?
Stay mad goys
Gnu IceCat
Try again sweety, I use GNU IceCat.
any good browser which doesn't hog nearly 1gig of ram? tried midori and qupzilla but both have problems with 4chinz
Underrated post
Any of u fags tried dooble?
en.m.wikipedia.org
I can have 20 tabs open in firefox and use about 900MB
Links
Opera, i love it
They're all pretty bad, just pick the one that seems the least awful. I'm using vivaldi right now and its alright. The customization options please my autism. Its not Stallman-approved but it's still open-source.
>Vivaldi
>Literally a webpage that uses chromium to display images inside of it
Sorry, meant webpages, not images
Still starts and runs faster than FF in my experience. Hell, maybe my distro's package is broken but Vivaldi is faster than regular chromium for me.
same
kek, hope you don't get found out, Mr Tech Wizard!
This is the only sane choice.
I really like Firefox on the desktop, but the mobile version is pretty bad in my experience. I use Brave on mobile; which is pretty great, but sucks on desktop.
TOR so I'll put on the watch list.
Violent commie totalitarian fuck.
Vivadi
the more i look the more features i find and the the more i like them
What about the least ram consumer
Obvious samefag
itt: lots and lots of google shills
Any browser supporting extensions + tab suspending extension
Brave
using Iridium with AdGuard ad blocker.
seems to work fine.
I'm using Qutebrowser, pretty happy with it, just wish it had extensions/add-ons
Google Chrome with Google account logged in + Ghostery extension.
Completely safe and botnet free.
WHERE THE FUCK IS NETRUNNER?????
>50+ tabs
old cyberpunk-style card game
FUN FACT: My 2009 era i7 with 6gb of tripple channel ram was constantly getting eaten up and choking from my tab whorage so i am using an old 64gb SSD just for pagefile and browser cache so i can just "keep on tabbin"
also my ctrl and pgdown keys are visibly worn from constant tab scrolling.
*tips
genuine question: what is the advantage/appeal of having this many tabs open at the same time over bookmarking or just remembering what you had open
i wanna fugg akari
>what is the advantage
Protects from information overload. Its like a brain page file. If i bookmark ill forget to look back up, its mainly a Sup Forums thing. Threads move so fast and get archived (particularly on Sup Forums) as soon as i close a tab its lost to the ether.
Also i can save entire month of research on a topic as a session and come back to it. Vivaldi lets you hibernate background tabs.
Its mainly from using Opera for so long. It had a alot of power user features for us "tabbies"
There are several archives, user.
have you tried searching them for an old thread ???
> what is his engame
> explain this shit
> for me its
lot of thread titles dont reflect the actual discusion that took place... plus multiple generals
*its all so tiresome*
Use better search words and filters
Its not hard to use
Looks fine for me. What's broken?
Pale moon :3
qutebrowser
firefox nightly
Yeah, nah I jumped off the Moonchild bandwagon...
Chromium --site-per-process with sync and webrtc disabled.
Jesus FUCK. VUVLA-PC detected.....
Open another browser window ffs.
>his mobo can take 128gb ram, he's installed 2 64gb sticks and he's gonna get his value for money....
I just started trying it out and it's the biggest piece of shit.
Is there any hidden bullshit with Firefox or are all the privacy options open in there?
Qupzilla + AdGuard for Windows
Basically the greatest combination
cool
Firefox or icecat how can non-feline browsers even compete.
this
Waterfox
lynx. the only way
GNU IceCat
This and
>Qutebrowser
(bind m to watch videos in mpv)
Is there any version of this on windows ? I keep hearing good things but I just cant seem to find any official page even. Is it linux exclusive ?
> GNU
> Windows
Firefox for normal browsing
Chrome when you need a stock browser for sites to just work
How to make firefox eat less memory and make it free memory. Seems there is some memory leak. Any extension or config option about that?
firefox >>>>>
Opera is least CPU intensive.
Any portable browser? I need my life contained in a little flashdrive.
Thanks, and upvote for your thread!
lynx fucktards
pale meme doesn't have this problem.
GNU Icecat
Vivaldi
>
Can you use Tor browser for normal browsing?
no, it only works for shady illegal stuff
I use Opera, it's fast and eats up less ram than other browsers.
