Everyone loves music has the right to children but I think geogaddi is their best album.
less abrasive tim hecker like imaginary country
Grouper
Tryshasla by Secede is one of my most favorite albums. Also works very well with acid and dxm.
bvdub the art of dying alone
it's been a while since i listened to it, but i don't remember it being a good album to fall asleep to
and everyone has this exact sentiment, stop the memes
Thats why i was suprised honestly,i did start listening from the second half downward tho. Its just relaxing stuff.
Ooh oooh! I've got a suggestion!
This album is actually really relaxing, I recommend it for drifting off and sleeping. The name is "Le Roi Est Mort! Vive Le Roi!"
It's really groove new-age-y type music, and each track flowing into the next beautifully. Other than that, I'd recommend Kid A by Radiohead (or their new album, for that matter) and perhaps Disintigration by the Cure (though that's more grooving)
Also Brain Enos songs for airports is good.
Also apparently my grammar is terrible
>All these posts
>No Structures From Silence
didn't know people knew about enigma, right on
I'm legit surprised no one has mentioned Robert Rich yet. Pic related literally meant to be slept to.
this one takes the fuckin cake
William Basinski's tape loop stuff (Disintegration Loops, El Camino Real, 92982), Tannenbaum by Kevin Drumm, Substrata by Biosphere. Maneuvering The Nocturnal Hum by Stars Of The Lid is criminally underrated, and is the best album (it's an EP, but w/e) by them to fall asleep to.
Listen to these people as well
Basinski and Star of the Lid are babby's first ambient. they're great to fall asleep to because they contribute absolutely nothing of musical interest. they are literally impossible to listen to actively without feeling lethargic.
i have fallen asleep to this every night for like the last 3 months
This
The KLF - Chill Out
Why haven't I heard this before.
Thanks homie.
Hey Sam whaddp
Someone always asks this same question every single day. Just check the archive, seriously. Have a sage and an essential album.
That's the best ambient album to stay awake to, actually.
This is really good.
you can also count the sheep on the cover if the music isn't enough
it's like freezing to death
...
Somnium
Fall asleep in a forest around 5 PM to this.
Anybody have time to make a chart of these recs?
Hecq - Night falls

The only reason MHtRtC gets higher rating is because it came before.
Found the pleb. That was pretty easy.
It's also good study music.
The Pearl by Brian Eno and Harold Budd
Ambient #1: Music for Airports Brian Eno
>the album isn't actually called 'Soliloquy for Lilith
(faggot)'

These three are the only acceptable answers. Evening Star will help you rest with hope for a better tomorrow.
