Wow does the red make it go FASTER?

hi

Attached: n2ewguts.jpg (1920x1280, 1.12M)

My first build, will go for a case with a power supply shroud next time.

Attached: guts.jpg (3023x3151, 2.08M)

This case is way too fucking big and I absolutely regret getting it because of that. It's pointlessly large.

That being said the room to work inside is nice, and I do upgrade/tinker often. I'm pretty sure I can fit an additional mITX mobo & PSU in the lower level so I may make this a dual machine sometime in the future.

I really like the aesthetics, but I should have gotten an X3.

inb4 cable management, it's a WIP

Attached: IMG_3438.jpg (960x1280, 245K)

>calling out red accents

>"tasteful" purple LEDs

>Pointlessly large
It's meant for large custom liquid loops. Or at least 2x240mm AiO radiators at the top.

Attached: Gats.jpg (2048x1153, 2.31M)

Yeah I figured that once I got it, but I was a minerboi at the time so instead of returning it I crammed like 6 GPUs into it and kept it. Found the pics, fully aware of how retarded this was but it was fun at the time

Bonus $730(!) 1080Ti hanging from the fan brackets with walmart zip ties. WCGW?

Ideas for a well ventilated not "ugly black boy" case?

Attached: IMG_9181.jpg (4000x3000, 3.78M)

460x? I love mine to death. Only issue is cable management space in the back. I work for a computer company so I got mine for 30 bucks. But other than the price I love it. It's definitely a meme box but it had great airflow.
I actually like the glass panels. The front has nearly unrestricted airflow. Otherwise the previous generation Silverstone r6

Yet my build is still less tacky than yours.

Attached: 20180311_181641.jpg (4032x2268, 2.64M)

White one is not my bag but still pretty clean

Attached: untitled-1.jpg (725x613, 64K)

Yeah I had this one on my radar. It's the least worse so far.

Attached: VVVV.jpg (576x768, 131K)

Well yea
of course it does

Attached: IMG_2972.jpg (1600x1200, 582K)

Pretty good i personally don't like the red but it looks great otherwise.
Looks like a good solid build like the lighting.
Good clean basic Ryzen build looks great.
I have always liked the purple fans as clean as always.
Nice Ryzen build what cpu? I'm hopefully going to get a r5 1600 i can get one for 149.99 at Microcenter.

Attached: B4KK5d8.jpg (3024x4032, 940K)

Would you rather a different colour then, Mr. Speedy gonzalez

Attached: PC blue small.jpg (1512x2016, 945K)

what's the cooler?

>Nice Ryzen build what cpu? I'm hopefully going to get a r5 1600 i can get one for 149.99 at Microcenter.
1600, paired with a 1060 6gb, been great so far. Built it in the early summer, so I just missed out on crazy ram prices and the gpu was only slightly inflated.

No thanks famalam. Colored leds are gay.

If it's the one in Cali ask for Kyle.

1600 at 3.9 and a 1080. second build after upgrading from a 2500k and gtx 770 (previously hd 6950), very nise

Mah guts, have posted before.

Is this real life user? If so, what are the specs? Would love to try some sims and rendering on that machine.

Attached: DSC04720.jpg (2500x2500, 1.51M)

Also, recently replaced the Corsair fans with Noctuas.

Attached: DSC05367.jpg (1696x2160, 1.5M)

Looking pretty good!

Still no GPU?

>a non k with a water cooler
what did he mean by this? looks great tho

Very nice. Jealous of the RX 580. I wish I had bought one before the GPU hike.
That's quite a jump. Hope you're enjoying it
How is TR? What do you use that PC for? Some rendering I'm assuming. What chip is it you're running? I was considering the 1950X soon myself.

~ aesthetic~

Shame forgot to mention. You should move the bottom GPU down a slot. Are them to breathe easier.

8350 and a 7970, holding out until GPUs go back down and possibly Ryzen2.

Attached: HunkofJunkMKVI.jpg (2403x960, 404K)

Good to see the 460X/400C getting a lot of love ITT. Smallest case I could find to fit an eATXBit board and still have reasonable custom loop support.
Bit of a change from the Fractal Defines.

I'll bet you're pretty fun at parties.

haha thats hilarious!

i tip my fedora to you my fellow redditor!

MSI Gaming Pro Carbon? Definitely what the other guy said, there's no need to have the second card in the second PCIe slot.

>>massive case with all empty drive cages wasting space.
>>cable mod spaghetti thin cables
I'm OK with you thinking this.

>How is TR?
It's a great processor/platform, no complaints except for the limited selection of motherboards and full-coverage coolers. I use it for animation and a bit of gaming (1950x). I believe there is a TR refresh coming with the Zen+ stuff. I'm not really interested in upgrading, but for you it may be worth holding out for.

>MSI Gaming Pro Carbon?
Yup. Pretty decent board after some BIOS updates, but I just don't know about MSI as a company...

And yes, I should really move the GPU down, there is a 10°C difference between them during rendering!

Is this amount of gpu sag normal?

Attached: guts2.jpg (3649x3024, 2.78M)

SSDs are the future, fag. No need for a bunch of hard drives until I have a use for them.
>cable mod spaghetti thin cables
they're not cablemod, bucko.

im praying for you

holy shit this is ugly

the cables, aio and leds is what makes it. you gotta see the vision my fellow redditor

What case is this? I legitimately almost need this with my eatx board and two, large coolered, 7970's

I'm pretty sure the MsI armor cards are all prone to that. I had a gtx 960 with similar sag.
youtu.be/EOXYE3hx_JY
Watch this and hopefully one of his suggestions works.

>if you have any kind of aesthetic preference beyond stock coolers and in-package cables, you're a redditor
ebin.

You're missing a mounting screw in the upper rear slot. Is it locked all the way into the PCI slot?

GPU?

galax 1080 white (non hof)

I have the same case and i fucking love it, only complaint is it's a bit hard to good airflow onto some parts of the case. Although it will be less of an issue when I get the liquid loop in.

thermaltake core x9

Get an ssd dude. Its like $70 for an ok 240gb or $90ish for a Samsung.
An LED strip might be good to light up the top portion. Fair warning, the cablemod one is ridiculously bright though ( )
See if you can bring your pcie cables together. Perhaps a zip tie.

It's locked in, and I've put the screw in before and it doesn't help.

This is my first PC build. R8 & h8?

Attached: 20180308_233404.jpg (3264x1836, 2.13M)

>yfw that was built to play CS 1.6

built it sideways/10

ok but why dont u have the screw in there anyway

your PSU is actually upside down. the fan should be on the bottom, pulling air up and venting out the back of the case.

Attached: 20170803_013121.jpg (2172x3743, 3.21M)

Why would you put an ITX motherboard in an ATX case?

What's with the cable going from the rear panel to the inside of the case? Also why itx in a full atx case?

In some situations having an extra exhaust can actually help, but pretty sure you're right here.

Attached: 10220015.jpg (3333x5000, 2.25M)

This tickles my pickle.
The fact it's a USB2 port has me scratching my head.

All that neat shit and then... 212 evo

I mean it's okay as cooler, but doesn't really fit in there

usb looks like its going to the aio water block

Attached: DSC07153.jpg (1687x2427, 317K)

>my first pc build ever is a custom loop
I don't actually believe you
It's breddy neat even though it's a bit sideways
I'd have the PSU the other way around

Reservoir needs topping off. A rigid SLI bridge would look better. Tubes have a lot of slack and are crisscrossed. Stop using WiFi on a desktop computer. Custom cables would be a nice bonus, but not needed. The area around the reservoir could use a little tidying.
Please take better photos.
But overall, it's a pretty damn solid machine user. I hope it serves you well.

Sure he uses GNU/Linux on it

To use it in a htpc later?

Yup I’m planning to go ssd as soon as I’ve manage my files - formatting without backup drive is a pain. Not sure about led strips though but I will look into that

Yeah, I don't get it. Not sure why anyone would buy such an unnecessarily large case with marginally above average storage support. I thought that was the whole point of the Define Rx series?

fractal design will go bankrupt in 2 years

screenshot this

Well that's a strange business decision if I ever saw one
I wouldn't be surprised if they become available soon, they sell trays for pretty much pmt every other model

>this much dust
How?

put in a second computer

I only open it when it acts up and lately I spilled some coke in through the top fan opening. Only reason there's no dust on half the graphics card is cause I removed the cola stains with a microcloth.

I read it as gore so you get my towers guts

4 fans (2 intake, 2 exhaust) all sata ports used, additional shit outside it, and an rx580

There's at least 3 different os installations on here and I can't remember if there's a 4th because I'm too lazy to check

Yeah sorry for my autism.

ill fix that right now thanks for the tip user.

it actually is. I picked up the EKP360 kit to make it easier for myself.

Topped it up this morning, and any suggestions on a new SLI bridge? This one always looked gay. Amd yeah it runs everything I throw at it so far.
