Not true, while 100GB number is bullshit, 40-70GB is normal, and 80GB+ for a couple.
Just out of some of my more recent things, Batman v Superman extended UHD is around 77GB. Interstellar UHD is around 67GB.

To be fair, anything you have that is more than 6 months old isn't a true 4k remux, it's a 4k screen cap that is NOT the same as a remux, and is actually super bloated file size because of that.
Screen caps were done because they hadn't broken AACS 2.0 encryption yet, now that AACS 2.0 has been broken however, we're getting true bit-perfect remuxes, which are much smaller than those 100GB+ monstrosities there.

you can buy a 7200rpm 8tb segate barracuda from a uk store right now for £170 delivered, an 8tb wd red drive popped up on amazon spain earlier today for €170(£150/$210) and it's not uncommon for them to go this cheap, german vendors were selling them for €180 for a week last month

little tip, the wd easy store 8tb best buy often has on sale for like $140-$160 have relabled wd nas hard drives in them. Those go for about $250 or more on Amazon. I bought about three when they were $160 each.
