Because it was made before the iPhone X was even in development... Stop buying a new phone every year jfc.

My nokia 8 is designed by caucasian dudes so it has good design.
Mongols aren't Caucasian

Because my smartphone is from ’12 and life was good and rectangular.
I want a screen with a sticking out bit.
Just so it can fuck those delicious notch pussies.
Because I'm still using a moto g 2014 and I will continue to use it for many years more.
still rocking this bad boy, works like a new one.
Cancer wasn't out when I bought it
I'm sure they'll fuck it up this generation tho
god im ready to move on from my S7 and everything coming out this year looks like shit, notches EVERYWHERE.
bought one of those dirt cheap nextbit phones and gotta say hands down best budget smartphone if you dont care about camera quality
guess ill hold out for the next Note
the S9 doesn't have a notch
Because my phone actually has very nice hardware, unlike the trashbin fire that is the current phone market.
Because it's the original.
Sent from my iPhone X.
DELET THIS
The Essential Phone has the smallest notch and it was unveiled before the iPhone X.
>all that space down at the bottom
>give it a notch for the camera
Why when Samsung S5 is perfectly fine. Has great specs, microSD slot with 200gb in there and overclocking. And can easily change batteries.
Because the retarded screen concept didn't exist in 2014
ITS NOT FAIR, WHY YOU DONT WANT A NOTCH?? ARE YOU RACIST???? AAAAAAAA
>tfw Samsung is the only one immune to the notch cancer
>tfw you lived to see Samsung be the good guy in the smartphone space
>tfw spider crack
reeeeeeee
I guess I'm gonna have to get a Samsung next if everyone is gonna copy retarded notch.
I'll probably buy S9 on the basis of it being purple.

essential phone did it first tho
Basically this. Quite content with my G3, no reason to buy a phone with no removable battery, and with cropped screen space in the form of rounded corners and a notch.
No, it's just a tiny unobtrusive camera instead of a 60% wide notch.
the "notch" is basically the camera + some sensors.
if you keep adding stuff you'll eventually get to 0% notch and 100% black bar.
Thus said, essential phone was the first to add a black space on top
It seems too expensive. Maybe the A series will deliver an affordable mid range phone. Then there's the J range for the cheap end.
