my fucking phone has 4000 battery why can't they put a bigger one on notebooks?

Ok cuck

>Web browsers are as as memory intensive as modern 3D games

Muh ultrabook thinness I think

Then don't buy a shitty ultrabook then. My laptop has a 7.6k mah battery and a dedicated gpu.

>as as

>voltage + mAh

4000 what? Units, nigger.

It's about voltage, 4000mAh at 4.2V it's around 16.8 Wh, my ultra thin X1 has a 50Wh battery but it works at 20V so it rates at only 2500 mAh.

theres a limit to how big of one you can bring on an airplane

you fucking know he means mAh, nigger

>Watt-hour = milliamp
Kill yourself

Read , you fucking ignr'nt.

>his laptop needs more than 4000 battery

>tfw my 10000mah chink phone still has a larger battery than your laptop

It's baffling why they put such small batteries in laptops even though they got a lot more room than phones.

>ultrashit

Does it matter when everything gets 8-10 hours these days despite the thin form factor? I'll take this any day over the gigantic pieces of shit that only lasted two hours that we had a decade ago. You kids have it nice these days for laptops.

>only way to replace the glued in battery it to permanently damage it then disassemble the entire machine
how does anybody justify this?

Even Apple isn't this bad.

>pay $1500 and can't even play any game on settings higher than minimum
>we have nice laptops

lmao thinpad with 9 cell battery lasting the whole fucking day.

>everything gets 8-10 hours
In idle. Start doing anything with max brightness and that becomes 2-4h. And that's with mostly dual core ULV Cpus.

We could have had double that but laptops became fashion accessories.

>playing heavy games on laptop
Is that the reason you bought it in the first place? Just get a PC if you plan to game
>m-muh portability
Get an eGPU then and stop spewing shit

>max brightness
Modern laptops are so fucking bright that brightness isn't needed unless you purposely angle the display right under the sun.
Most laptops will easily last you a full work day, doing actual work.

>hurr durr my phone has 4000 capacitance battery while my laptop has 300 capacitance battery battery.
>hurr durr I'm a stupid faggot that can't google how electricity works

>>>/leddit/

4790mah on my Mac.
Just don't get a shit laptop, idiot.

> has a coaltek chip
It's actually 5000 nigger

Your fucking phone battery is 3v, not 12v like a laptop's.

Volt has nothing to do with capacity.
There's no Volt-hours dumbfuck.

Fuck off retard, go back to school

>22 hours
can x86 plebs even compete?

Attached: asus_nova_go.jpg (1200x491, 86K)

Ok, then show me where volt-hours is used, asshole.

processing power

webm related is literally what happens if phones tried to be computers

see

You dumb fuck, watt = volt * amp. You raise either voltage or mah to get more useful life.

Well Core M more than 3x faster than a Snapshit and still manages to get 13 hours battery on an average 2 in 1.
ARM is incompatible with x64 software and a whole bunch of other necessities.

>ARM is incompatible with x64 software and a whole bunch of other necessities.
Nope, x86/x64 emulation has been possible for a while now. The real problem is emulating a single x86 incurs a huge performance penalty which gets worse as you toss in moar coars.

However if all you do is light web browsing and word processing then something like could be worth it but since your modern flagship phone can do just that it still seems like a stupid idea.

Although x64 platform is possible, Microsoft isn't gonna support it unfortunately.

I'm smelling Windows RT 10.0 here. SNP 835 ain't gonna be cheap too.

It’s fucking marketing OP

Doesn't matter when third parties like QEMU already do. Though possible for individuals to run QEMU VMs on ARM devices I think microsoft is holding a knife to anyone that wants to implement a commercial form of this.

QEMU seems to have a very large performance penalty. The latest phones will barely run Windows 7 (using Limbo app), but then again this is comparing emulating a full system to just emulating a single application on W10 ARM.

your laptop battery is made up of 3.7v cells in an orientation that gives the desired voltage

>snapmeme
lmao

An 11.1v battery at 4000mah has 3x the capacity of a 3.7v battery at 4000mah. mah doesn't work for different voltages, you have to compare Wh instead.

surfaces atleast already have about the max amount of battery that will physically fit inside. it's more battery by surface area than anything else inside

>already degraded after 72 cycles
lmao macshit

still holding up pretty well considering it's only supposed to last for 1k charge cycles. it looks like it may be starting to degrade faster, it was at 38k for a long time

He's right, you're an imbecile.
