I did look but the local prices where I live are insane.

Also, I usually defragment my drive.

i am winner based on gpu temp alone

Why are your fonts all weird

Windows 8.1 + Cleartype? I have no idea.

Good god, do you render for a living?

Slots 1 and 3 filled with Corsair XMS 2GB sticks and the 4th slot is filled with a ADATA Technology 2GB stick.

I have another XMS stick but for some reason it won't boot with all sticks filled.

It's a 4 inch screen you moron.

Enjoy your slower Ryzen in the next few weeks that will bring back the status quo:

I should buy a NAS and put a few 4-8TB drives in there and fucking call it a day.

Damn, I used to have that exact motherboard, senpai :3
Ran a q9650 at 4ghz on air.

Any overclock on that xeon? Also, you have a guts pic of that badboy? Love me some lanparty!

Still have the DFI MI p55 itx board in my server with a x3440 running 3ghz.
And I also have the atx DK P55 (pic related) with a x3470 (3.8ghz air, 4.2ghz water), tho not in use now as I'm running a R3E x58 setup.

I think the P55 boards was the last Lanparty models DFI made.

I'll set up the P55 again if the x58 dies, such a nice board.

Very nice rig though, would be happy to own it myself. 9/10, maybe a 10 if you listed which drives were in the raids.

Attached: speccy - jordan.png (963x668, 56K)

4.5GHz sandy bridge is still good enough
2x 7200rpm 400GB RAID-0 HDD has been running fine for 13 years and still fast enough

i wish speccy would show things like voltages and clock modifiers.

Ive undervolted the core and cache by 150mV, igpu core down by 95mV. Gave me enough thermal headroom to turbo to 3.6ghz on all cores more or less indefinately as hover below 50watt on the package.

also bumped up GPU 150Mhz though for the life of me cannot seem to undervolt anything mobile.

Temps are a bit high because vidya.

The one that requires me to flash a hacked BIOS? lmao

Have fun with Metldown, Shlomo.

My computer abruptly forgot my GPU existed.

my potato is a potato

Attached: speccy.png (611x538, 44K)

An E8500 can still get by just fine. Your monitor is a potato though.

It runs great to be honest, need to look at installing a second HDD and upgrading the existing one, also a new monitor...

Is this thing having such good overclocks the reason the K line exists?

Attached: spc.png (1920x1080, 1.1M)

nothing special

Attached: speccy.jpg (594x421, 36K)

I just placed in a new motherboard with my old SSD. I think it's a good day to not lose everything.

question unrelated to speccy
is a CPU cooler normally hot to the touch but not too hot to touch?
ive got the jankiest cooler in the world right now and its clearly working because its hot, but i dont think it gets enough airflow

Attached: 1519905473080.png (545x602, 31K)

id check the temps but the machine is in the middle of formatting an HDD for a windows XP installation, so i cant really see what temp its at

Attached: specccccy.jpg (416x498, 48K)

>2 core @ 45°C

Wew lad.

and heres the last one

Attached: speccyee.jpg (674x560, 75K)

thats a core2quad dumbass

who would've guessed that a 12 year old, 95 watt processor on a stock heatsink would be idling hot?

Speccy seems to measure it 10°C higher.

Attached: q6600.png (901x572, 140K)

well i have another one to add to the list now
it didnt catch fire, ive got pictures of my super janky cooling solution i made for this system, i didnt have a socket 478 cooler on hand so i hacksawed and ziptied a 775 cooler onto it
as i said, it got warm, so its making good contact, but its kinda hot feeling but not too hot? so i think it needs more airflow than a 120mm bequiet pure wings 2 can provide in a cramped case

ill install drivers and get tethering working tomorrow so i can shitpost from it and play some dank empire earth 1 scenarios

it didnt catch fire or shutdown or anything like that during the install or for the time i had XP idling, so thats a good sign
