LOSER

Hey, nice axe man!

/jk/ you're a fucking LOSER

If your guitar says Squier or Epiphone on the headstock, you're a LOSER. These "guitars" were made by LOSERS for LOSERS who can't afford a real instrument.

I don't care if you swapped out the pickups. I don't care if you installed a bone nut. I don't care if you 'like it'. You're a fucking LOSER

>You're a fucking LOSER
So what?

t. insecure cuck whose lack of ability forces him to value his instrument more than his playing

pls no bully

Chill out man, they all essentially do the same thing

I can tell you feel strongly about this lol

Have you ever just thought to yourself...

Holy shit

Holy shit

I can't believe what a massive faggot this guy is?

stay mad LOSERS

Wooo!
Yay you!

what the fuck's wrong with your hand

Your guitars have no strings, loser

>those long ass fingers

im jealous...

I wish I got a J Mascis Squier Jazzmaster instead of the Fender Blacktop Jazzmaster I got instead.

However, the Epiphone SG II had while starting out was a piece of shit.

i was restringing and cleaning my FENDER and my GIBSON and noticed the logo's on the headstock and was suddenly filled with PRIDE that inspired me to make this thread for you LOSERS

I have a squier, it sounds pretty nice and its all I need. Besides Guitars are for LOSERS aka OP.

I might be a loser but you're definitely a virgin, OP

An MIM Fender is shit. Squiers are essentially the same quality. Unless your Fender is made in America it is the same garbage. Fucking dumb cuck

read the fine print LOSER

it's not yours, you probably were in your friend's house or something and you took that photo

Loser

just stopped by a LOSER friend's house and we scraped resin and I am sorry for this thread now

Gibson and Fender are for midlife crisis cooldads

They're actually great beginner guitars, not everyone has mommy and daddys money to buy $6,000 guitars that you play half ass anyway. Sit down.

>not everyone has mommy and daddys money

Yeah, some people are LOSERS

kek

I am so "mad" that I don't have those twiggy crooked fingers.

I don't want a fender Tele. I want a squire Tele. Go fuck yourself.

>Spent $300 dollars on a Squier Jazzmaster
>Restrung it with 11's
>Ends up sounding fantastic
>Decide to repaint it green
>End up having a nice looking and nice sounding guitar for a quarter of the price of an American Jazzmaster
>If it gets fucked up I can just buy a new one because I only spent a week's worth of minimum wage on it

how does it feel to know you fell for the reissued guitars are shit meme, c-u-c-k?

nice ayy lamo fingers

you must have missed this post

how does it feel having to use .11's because you don't know how to set up your guitar?

vocaroo.com/i/s1w2gppsYGk5

tune your guitar. The low is E is flat.

yeah it's pretty out of tune. in my defense it's 1967 yamaha with dead strings and bowed neck, and i'm excruciatingly drunk

...

Im not a dad but I am 44 and thinking of buying a Fender Jazzmaster, so this is probably true. I am indeed quite cool.

Fuck it who cares? I always save up to buy an expensive guitar because I can't help myself. But whenever I'm at a local show and see some kid playing a Squier or Epiphone or Ibanez GIO I kind of envy them and wish I had saved myself the thousand dollars.

Sure I know the real deal sounds better and is constructed better but unless you're comparing them side by side you don't really notice it that fucking much.

You guys know that Vintage Squires, much like vintage Epiphones are mad good. Jeff Beck's favorite guitar at one point was a Squire Strat. My roommate has one and it's undeniably dope.

>vocaroo.com/i/s1w2gppsYGk5
>i need fuzz pedals because i don't know how to play

Your playing was so mediocre. Like a faux but less interesting jimmy page. Also you would have sounded better with distortion.

Holy shit your noodling sucks. Can you actually write a song and do something that requires actual thought? Or do you just play random shit all day waiting for someone near you to go "WOW user YOU'RE SO GOOD AT GITAR!!"?

My first guitar was a black squier strat. It's all fucked up now and the strings are like almost an inch above the fret board for some reason... no clue what happened.

I let my brother's band borrow it one time when they toured and they must have fucked it up. But I feel like I have to shit on squiers because if they were actually good then it would still be a playable guitar today... but nope.

Okay, winner boy, keep bragging about your penis extension on a Indonesian ladyboy enthusiast forum while my peers make good music : youtube.com/watch?v=YgSPaXgAdzE

weird fuckin hands man

Nice falseflag post, dad.
I own fenders and squiers and i can confidently say that mim or mij squiers blow chinese fenders out of the water.

Check my 1949 epiphone Loser guitar

Honestly there's no reason to buy a Gibson over an Epiphone anymore, especially when it comes to Les Pauls. Gibsons are so unreasonably priced it's gotten to the point where the moderately priced Epiphone Les Pauls are cheaper than the cheapest model Gibson offers, and is a better instrument.

You're probably right about Squire though. I wouldn't mind having the J Mascis Jazzmaster though.

I doubt you even play guitar, loser

>the strings are like almost an inch above the fret board for some reason... no clue what happened.
You need a truss rod adjustment. It happens because when seasons change it makes the bar in the neck warp. There should be a hole for an alan wrench in the headstock, or just take it to Guitar Center.

>the moderately priced Epiphone Les Pauls are cheaper than the cheapest model Gibson offers, and is a better instrument.
Is this true though? I kind of want you to be right. I've been considering getting a Les Paul for a while and the temptation to stop saving and just buy an Epiphone right now is so tempting.

Thanks m8. Is it an easy fix? If it is I might try it out but I'm not really desperate. I haven't played it in years but just curious.

I can assure you the Epiphone Les Paul Standard and the Epiphone Les Paul Traditional are both better guitars than the Gibson LPJ, in both looks and sound, while being about $150 cheaper.

>Is it an easy fix
Yes, if you know what you're doing. Watch a YouTube tutorial and see if you think it looks easy enough.

Yes, but just watch out putting too much strain on the neck by tightening the truss rod too much. Could fuck up your neck. You Have to go really far though before that happens

It's worth nothing that Squire and Epiphone are not exactly the same in relation to Fender and Gibson. Squire functions specifically as the brand of affordable Fender guitars, whereas Epiphone is its own independent company that just happens to have Gibson as a parent company, and as a result has a right to their intellectual property (re: a right to produce their own versions of Gibson's guitar models). Squire's guitars are supposed to be affordable in the sense that they are an inferior product to the stuff branded Fender, but Epiphone are not necessarily "Cheap Gibson." Epiphone actually makes quality stuff.

Also the Les Paul was originally an Epiphone exclusive guitar. The Gibson Les Paul came later.

You're about half right. Les Paul played Epiphone acoustics, that's where the neck and wings for The Log came from. But that's not the same as the Epiphone Les Paul coming first, Epiphone didn't start making Les Pauls until the late 80s.

i got attention though so I win

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class at Berklee, and I’ve been involved in numerous tours across America, and I have over 300 confirmed hit singles. I am trained in classical music, jazz, and music theory, and I’m the top soloist in my entire freeform jazz ensemble. You are nothing to me but just another bedroom guitarist. I will wipe you the fuck out with sweep arpeggios the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my uncle who works at Century Link and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the shred-off, maggot. The shred-off that exposes you for the absolute scrub you are. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can improvise anywhere, anytime, and I can out-shred you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with fingerstyle technique. Not only am I extensively trained in playing by ear, but I have access to the entire database of Hal Leonard sheet music and I will use it to its full extent to beat you at a guitar duel, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will spam tap licks and sweep arpeggios all over you and you will drown in them. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

I had an Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe (w mini humbuckers) back in the 90's that my parents bought me as a graduation gift. It was ebony finish and played amazingly, sounded great.

Unfortunately, somebody fucking robbed my house about 10 years ago and it was swiped. I'm still sore about it because I have never seen another LP Deluxe in my price range.

Mini humbuckers are super bright sounding, almost single coil sounding compared to the PAF types that are in most LP's for those wondering

nice guitar LOSER. So cheap it doesn't even have 2 pickups

Keep LOSING bro

It has to be a squier cause fender jaguars are pretentious and not indie.

i bought a sq jag about a week ago. i play mellow droney stuff and i really love it.
not to say that fender's aren't in some ways objectively better but just that they might not be worth the extra $800 to you. if you're only new to guitar definitely start off cheap.

stop trying so hard

doesn't even sound good

why the fuck do people approach music as some video game esque outlet for motor skills

While I would agree with you 90% about Squiers (I actually have a "Fat Strat" that's rather decent. It might be the ONLY good thing Squier ever made) I must disagree with you about Epiphones. My Les Paul Jr. Special model has served me quite well since I bought it over 10 years ago. I like the sound I get from it, and it's not a bad investment for $200.00. Also, John Lennon was so fond of his Casino, he used it all the way from Rubber Soul to Let It Be, so if an Epiphone is good enough for John Lennon, and, to a lesser extent, John Lee Hooker, then it's good enough for me.

No, its just poorfag jealousy. If you're short on cash look for a 90s Les Paul Studio with ebony fretboard, those things fucking rule.

...

is this the shitty cover version of magic man by heart?? fucking gross bro enjoy never being relevant to anyone ever

didn't know Phil Collins played guitar

this thread is as boring as gibson or fender

You're also a fucking loser (and a poser) if you bought any guitar based on name, and don't have solid intrinsic reasons for buying it.

Nothing pisses me off more than faggots with ESPs and Fenders who think they're cool for having them yet cannot explicitly explain why they think the shit's good.

Also you're a fucking loser if you have active pups. That shit's for those who don't know how to get the right gear to get good tone, and just want to take the easy way out.

>active pickups are bad wahwahwah

get fucked

>Melody Maker Gibson
>MIM Fender

0/10 Loser.

I have a melody maker and it sounds great

Don't doubt it, but he's being a pompous douche over the fact that his beginner guitars are some how superior than other beginner guitars.

They are bad. Whether you get a high-end or cheap guitar with them in all you hear are the active pickups. So they end up being a way for people with shitty guitars such as ESPs to convince themselves that they have good ones

>i have no experience with good active pickups

you keep on going on about ESP's like some fag though

>hands so greasy he can't even write on his palms properly and the pen almost completely rubbed off in 7 minutes

Jesus fucking Christ I genuinely feel sorry for those poor guitars.

>not playing a comfy ibanez electro-acoustic

nice Mexican Fender

lol Gibson is fucking trash

Is the Jem Junior any good?

And you're an autistic faggot who probably doesn't know how to play

kek what the fuck is this?

Didn't know Phil Collins was a loser

I tell you, friend, many people believe these "budget" guitars are just as good as some of the Big Boy brand guitars, such as Fender, Gibson, or even Gretsch. I do not believe this. Those guitars are bad, and should not even be sold! Such losers, believing that the name and price are not what is important, as those are signs of superior build and playability. I laugh in the face of those who believe otherwise, as they are mere plebeians, while I follow the more patrician, Fender and Gibson path.
