I can't disagree more
Care to explain?

Since I made a Genesis one, I'll make one for Peter Gabriel solo and another for Phil Collins solo for shits and giggles.

1/2

2/2

I mean, thats wrong though. TLOP is another 808's. You'll understand it in a few years friend.

I really don't get what people like in Kill 'Em All, it's an incredibly unpolished and immature album. They improved so immensely by the next year it baffles me what people see in it

nice digits and taste bruh

Wrong

Invisible Touch wasn't THAT bad...

9, 10, 7, 6, god, 8, 6

HTTT is way better than TKOL nigga

Tbh the unpolished nature of it is what I love about it. In this album, they're just a bunch of kids who are in a kickass band doing their best

I'm glad to see Meddle getting such a high place on this chart- that shit is underrated

I like Animals more than you did, but I can see why it's unappealing

It's not awful, but I honestly think it's pretty flat except for Land of Confusion, Domino and The Brazilian.

>pink floyd
>above 7

The songwriting isn't particularly fantastic, though it has plenty of deviations to keep you interested, but they definitely took the sound of their NWOBHM heroes and added a dose of punk-inspired intensity that would prove an invaluable influence. Plus it's loaded with classic Mustaine riffs. That said, I think Slayer did it better that year.

i was with you until you put MPP above SJ

>any green day album above a 4

ok

Hz is a 9 and PW is a 7

About right, I liked Bleach about the same as Insecticide but other than that I agree.

I know a lot of plebs chose Strawberry Jam as their favorite Animal Collective album so that they can enjoy pop AC without feeling like a pleb for their favorite being Merriweather, but as someone who thinks the best era for Animal Collective was Campfire Songs through the People EP, I think that overall, Merriweather rivals Strawberry Jam. There are certain aspects in which I like Strawberry Jam more than Merriweather Post Pavilion, mostly the exciting sonic attack (I don't think there's one moment on Merriweather that's as fun as hearing a demonic voice talking about bigfoot creatures being cut off by a blast of crunchy, distorted guitars) but Merriweather Post Pavilion is overall a more cohesive and triumphant record that feels like they're on top of the world, having come full circle from sounding like drugged out, primal kids who emerged from the wilderness, and Strawberry Jam sounds like them coming into form so that they could do that. Once the whole pleb/patrician thing no longer becomes an issue, it becomes apparent that Merriweather is the superior album as far as their pop era. Still though, I think ODDSAC is better than both.

FTFY

Nice, The Lamb is a masterpiece

I really wish I thought so.

i promise i don't prefer SJ to seem "less pleb"
i legitimately think merriweather is at most an 8 and that SJ is at least a 9
i too enjoy campfire songs quite a bit and it's probably my favourite overall
i also dislike person pitch, so i don't know i just prefer SJ to MPP

how fucking dare you

>Feels is better than Sung Tongs and STGSTV
No thank you.

I am glad you recognize the greatness of Hollinndagain though, it's criminally underrated.

correct AnCo coming through

Yeah, I actually have no idea why everyone thinks Sung Tongs is better than Feels. It doesn't really touch that album in my opinion.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>Feels - 6
I think it's weird that anyone could rate that album that low. I think it's a flawless album, yet it seems to fly over a lot of people's heads.

>if someone doesn't like AnCo's most obnoxious, noisy pop record before CHz, they just don't get it
it's not a complex album, famalam

>feels
>obnoxious, noisy pop

are you sure you actually listened to the album famalam

Really? Cause I think it's their best work on a lot of levels. Not only did they master their sound on a sonic level with that album, but the compositional aspect is brilliant, in a subtle way. Just take Did You See the Words, how Avey spits out surreal lyrics that sound simultaneously romantic and bizarre, with a drum beat that builds in intensity with the lyrics, all leading up to the climax of the song. The whole album is brilliant, Avey Tare painting abstract images of emotion while the rest of the band fuses early 20th century impressionism with modern pop. The lyrics manage to be both beautiful and uncomfortable, with Avey Tare seeming to approach the concept of love from the perspective of a child who has just had it's sexual awakening. It felt like they had taken their early approach to music to it's furthest point, which is why they were wise to take a completely different approach afterwords.

>talks about lyrics for the vast majority of the time
>has never actually listened to impressionism and doesn't know that it's late-19th century music

could someone do me a favor and list the names of these releases?

Fuck you, Debussy is probably the most beautiful music I've ever heard if we're not limited to the rock umbrella. You'll probably make fun of me for that too some how, saying Debussy is bad or something, but I don't give a fuck.

...

I agree with this except NLDW should be a 9

>not saying Debussy is the most beautiful music while including the rock umbrella
yikes

most accurate rating chart i've seen for radiohead

Get off my fucking case you dickhead.
