Jamie is posting pictures on his Instragram quite frequently as well as some video's of Damon and the collaborators working.
However Damon's an absolute twat and managed to leave his laptop in a taxi, the laptop that had a lot of the work for Gorillaz on it.
We haven't had any official statement saying the album has been pushed back or anything, but a lot of people I talk to think it's gonna be pushed back for after this year due to the laptop set back.
I reckon we'll at least get something started this year. Whether it be a single or some story.
We could at least get some of the virtual band members hyping the album right?

In the Bananaz documentary you see Damon getting mad at Jamie for asking him to put effort into talking like 2D and not just himself in an interview.
I don't think it's that he didn't care about the characters though, more likely that he didn't feel comfortable pretending to be one.
That's probably why they got voice actors anyway.
