How can people say this is Radiohead's worst album?

Because their other albums are better

>Literally any of the songs you just put up
>any good at all
there's your answer

TKOL is definitely their worst.

>Being this contrarian

I'd still put it above TKOL

Ripcord -> I Can't is a good string of songs

You didn't even put the best song on the album in that list though

obviously this is their worst or second worst album, but anyone who thinks creep is a bad song is a contrarian. They have way better, I'll grant you.

>being a rockist
do you listen to them from your laptop speakers or what the fuck?

Holy shit this level of pretentiousness is laughable, even for Sup Forums

People calling TKOL their worst album

>anyone can play guitar
>good

I bet you just don't like it because you can't play guitar

Didn't you hear the song?
Anyone can play guitar

>TKOL is definitely their worst.
Yeah, if you're 12 and mentally challenged. The King of Limbs is one of the best Radiohead albums. The most patrician one for sure. A forest of the mind.

Pablo Honey 7,5/10
The Bends 9/10
OK Computer 7/10
Kid A 6/10
Amnesiac 7/10
Hail To The Thief 8/10
In Rainbows 6,5/10
The King of Limbs 4,5/10
A Moon Shaped Pool 6/10

>How can people say this is Radiohead's worst album?

"How Do You?"

There, does that answer your question?

...

it's better than in rainbows

Pablo Honey 6/10
The Bends 9/10
OK Computer 9.5/10
Kid A 10/10
Amnesiac 9.4/10
Hail to the Thief 7/10
In Rainbows 6.5
The King of Limbs 6/10
A Moon Shaped Pool 9.3

>I'd still put it above TKOL

normie

Perfect scores for Pablo Honey, The Bends, Hail to the Thief, and A Moon Shaped Pool, but way too harsh on OK Computer, Kid A, In Rainbows, and The King of Limbs. Amnesiac is pretty close though.

Pablo Honey 0/10
The Bends 2/10
OK Computer 1/10
Kid A 0/10
Amnesiac 0.5/10
Hail to the Thief 7/10
In Rainbows 1/10
The King of Limbs 2/10
A Moon Shaped Pool 9/10

>The Bends 9/10
>OK Computer 7/10
>Kid A 6/10
This is objectively wrong. The Bends can't be better than OK Computer since OKC is everything The Bends was but better, and Kid A is in completely another level.

There's an unnecessary amount of King of Limbs hate in this thread

Because it gets blown the fuck out by The Bends, and the albums after that blow even The Bends, an actually great rock album, the fuck out.

I'd say The Bends is much more personal and down to earth than OKC. To me, the albums have rather different aims - OKC has a focus on societal unease while The Bends is basically a feels trip.

Amnesiac is the best album, and you know it

this is horrible

How is TKOL patrician? It's quite accessible. Not that their other stuff isn't accessible, just saying TKOL is all very pleasant sounding.

this

It's 8 fucking songs. They're basically made on GarageBand. Live they're amazing (bloom) but the album is just stupidly repetitive and claustrophobic. And not like Autechre - Confield claustrophobic - just shit claustrophobic. There are 4 songs that are 'dude cool Krautrock beats' (Bloom, Feral, Morning Mr Magpie, Little by Little) and then the second side has some good tunes but it's just ok. By the end you're like 'could you have at least included staircase or maybe before your very eyes' but it's too late because the album is ridiculously uninspired and the Radiohead equivalent of Fashion Week.

It's ok but not a 'forest for the mind.'

>Pablo over OKC, Kid A, Amnesiac, and In Rainbows
>Bends over HTTT

>They're basically made on GarageBand
What kind of criticism is this? How are you criticising albums based on length in 2016? Fun House is seven songs and shorter than TKOL, are you going to spew nonsense about that album too?

Jesus Christ this is embarrassing to read. Shut your fucking worthless mouth and stop trying to sound smarter than you really are. The fact that Fashion Week was apparently the best comparison you could come up with makes it pretty clear how stupid and uninformed you are

Jesus Christ I don't even like TKOL that much either

I spent a whole year pretending this album was great because I didn't want to be lumped in with the ok computer fans

also Lurgee is amazing

There's like 3 songs that are memorable and everything else is fun but horribly generic. Every other RH album has at least 75% memorable tracks

Is there a reason everyone fucking loves Kid A so much? Aside from perhaps one or two specific songs its honestly techno space alien communication garbage.

>implying techno space alien communication isn't fucking awesome

i like it a lot but i cant tell you exactly why, it just feels like more than the sum of its parts if that makes sense

so I should take an hour, put it at the start and just sit through it then to fully get it.

Anyone have the 320 of Kid A?

I think it's better than The Bends by a long shot not even memeing

Is that not what you were already doing, stupid?

found the pleb

Listen to Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt or a Can/Neu album, I think there's a few influences Kid A drew from those and they're better imo.
