It was actually a cassette

...

My parents never bought me anything.

What about your aunts? uncles? grandparents?

Elvis Greatest Hits. My mom was convinced I liked Elvis when I liked The Beach Boys.

...

meh

>one of the greatest mainstream pop rock records of all time
>meh

I bought a Now That's What I Call Music thing because it had Mr. Brightside on it. That was in 2005 or so, I think. Coldplay and Gorillaz were on it, too. It was a great time. I think I still have it somewhere.

>CD
How new are you I got PJ Ten on Tape

I still regularly listen to alcohol

IT'S BEEN

...

...

I was 14.

When I was a kid I heard some girl that wasn't even that cute say that her favorite song was "Spanish Eyes" from that cd. I memorized it so deep it's in my DNA and my kids will know it. Being a kid is so weird

No joke. Got it with my first CD stereo.

One Hundred Years is their best song.

...

CD's were not invented in 1973

My dad was cool.

I prefer Short Term Effect, but the album is hard to argue with.

My mom got me this when I was 5 and I listened to it just about every day.

No, you're just a huge dad loving faggot. Why don't you go suck your dad's dick? The rolling stones are fucking trash

not that guy but I would totally suck my dad's dick if he was attractive

>huge dad loving faggot
What, is it cool to hate your dad on this board or something? Does your contrarianism extend to your personal relationships as well? Everybody loves their dad, so you think you're cool if you don't?

>everybody loves their dad
not that guy but that's just straight up false

>most people love their dad
There. Fixed it. My point still stands.

...

i had bought some of my own patrish albums before this

but the first one i asked my mum to buy for me was this and it was solely to annoy people with

This fucking thing, listened to it so many times on my walkman. shit was cash

I'll still listen to it on occasion when I'm feeling in the mood for some New Jack Swing and can stomach the cheerleading for Jesus type lyrics.

this was my favorite track:

Someone's Dad walked out on him when he was young
>tfw you'll never listen to Tago Mago with your old man

Are you this guy?

>The rolling stones are fucking trash

>tfw no parents

...

At least your free.

pretty good my man

some black eyes peas album

still my favorite album by them

same

I forget exactly what it was called, but it was a d 12 CD. I used to sing along with it, not knowing what it meant and eventually my mum took it off me because of all the bad words.

>tfw parents never bought any CDs

...

No one has ever bought me a CD :(((

>parents came from South Africa to America
>both died in car crash due to drunk driver 7 years after I was born
>had no family to live with cause they had none in America
>had to spend the next 12 years in foster care
I'd rather "not" be free, user

I'm sorry user

I'm sorry for your loss, buddy. A drunk driver killed my best friend when I was in middle school.

What I meant is my father is very overbearing. What I meant by "at you're free" is that once time when I was 15 and hanging out at my friend's house, my dad came and abruptly picked me up. I never got to be a kid. Hope you understand where I'm coming from at the very least.

I still catch myself remembering the songs on this pile of shit

Cold still gives me goosebumps

I'm sorry to hear that user. My uncle ws actually killed by drunk driver aswell. Do you mind me asking what it is you do now?

its okay
Like in general? I'm a student (now on break) at University since the state pays for my tuition. I'd like to be an accountant since my grandfather was an accountant in Rhodesia and my father was one too. I don't know what else I'd do.

It was one tape tho

I got that on cassette

Good times

Pretty freaking good pick desu

check the track listing, its patrician

my fucking nigga

listened to this one all the time

Viva La Vida

Not so much for me. Mom just wanted an excuse to buy this, and it stayed in the deck for almost a full year.

Fuckin' hated them then, fuckin' hate em now.

...

Looking back, that's actually a really solid album. I still keep songs like In the Car and Light Up My Room in my playlists. Hell, I'll even listen to Some Fantastic if I'm in the right mood. Nice, brah.

I'd never even listened to him before, needless to say this was not the best entry point fo dylan

...

Oh fuck, I remember that. My cousin had it. Truly a masterpiece.

Mine too. Got it with this as well.

this shit was genuinely good and I maintain that to this day

a present for everyone can suck a fattie tho

thanks mom

I think it was pic related. Not sure how much I even listened to it though.

That album's still today pretty awesome
