Danse Manatee

remind me OP what they said about Lateralus?

Kek, they don't even list the review on AnCo's p4k page, surprised they didn't delete it.

they put up an ironic review praising it
mostly knocked it for a strawman of its fanbase, basically
did the same with 10k days

...

Frances The Mute and Amputechture

Danse Manatee, Yanqui U.X.O., Exai, and Relationship of Command too

mumps etc

mumps etc

is this real?

pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/2134-discovery/

yes

Mumps, etc.

ended up naming the album as the second best of the decade, but yeah it is real

It's a faff with 4 CD players, but I reckon it's worth it, and a really cool experiment.

One of my favorite Pollard albums

You could put TMV's entire discography on a list of great albums Pitchfork has trashed. They absolutely hate that band.

Both Comedown Machine and Tyranny.

Is there a reason why?

I heard it was because TMV refused to play a show for pitchfork so they decided to pan everything they've done.

I have no idea but maybe someone else here can fill us in. That would so petty if it was because they didn't want to play a show for them because Frances and Deloused are fucking amazing.

I'm gonna quote this score whenever someone tries to use p4k as a review source.
