Any Slackware users here?
is this one a great start?
absolutelinux.org/getting_started/index.html#di
btw is there any particular reason why people prefer Arch over Slackware?

Arch has a cool, marketable name.
Slackware sounds like something a faggot would use.

How is unkept body hair and unkept hair numale? That doesn't even make sense

8/10, would angrily chomp pipe again

...

so TL;DR: arch is worse than Slackware but has a better name?

What's wrong with megumin??

Sane package management, perhaps?
t. not even an Arch user

explain

author of the pic clearly can't grow chest hair, or thinks a real man should shave

It's been almost a decade since I last used slackware, but I remember the options for package management being abysmal. For example, it had no dependency control. I'll say gentoo is less of a headache to maintain, if you're on modern hardware that can handle compiler workloads.

so it's impossible to automate packages on gentoo?

Slackware doesn't check dependencies. If you install something, it's on you to install all the packages it depends on.

Remove communism, pot and anime and this is me.

only if you want to download packages from other repositories

What do you mean by automate packages?
Automatically updating? You could use cron for that but it would be silly.

Anyone who likes what I don't like is a nu-male.

>You could use cron for that but it would be silly
why?

Haha agreed comrade. Anyways did you check out the latest marvel trailer? I fucking love pop culture!

Sbopkg and sqg work fairly well to alleviate this issue. Only very rarely do I need to install more than one or two dependencies manually since slackware lives by the 'everything and the kitchen sink' philosophy. Very stable distribution

that guy is not 200-215lb

You are outwardly offended by a nu-male infographic judging by the boards you wish to send the poster. In the end, it's healthy for a country to bring awareness to the nu-male epidemic.

>slackware doesn't do a thing
>here are some other distros that do the thing
thats not how this works user

Arch is chair that you need to assemble (nothing wrong with that), Slackware is a comfy couch with your favorite colored bong next to it (nothing wrong with that).

> They both have their use and comfy factor.
> I like both, but i have a Slackware comfy bias.
> Also Slackware is best enjoyed without derivation (you can't replace the original church)

encouraging delusions isn't healthy

you'd be delusional if you don't think we have a soyboy epidemic

We have a problem with American males. They need to go plant-based and work their muscles. Too much estrogenic activity from the plastics, meats, and diary.
