then why the fuck has chromium not fixed the fucking non-scrollable tabs and eventual tab overflow issue in the last fucking DECADE since it was found

that doesnt mean chromium is
people just work on the shit they enjoy. no one does the neccessary dirty work. that's why open source sucks and will always suck.
also the users are mostly retards who couldn't spell GCC if their life depended on it. so no one is doing what the commies who invented FOSS intended: fix your own problems and send the fix upstream.
tl;dr - just spend a few bucks and buy a licencese for a properly supported and maintained proprierty software package
>samefagging this hard
sage
you got me. open source is bugfree and useable
Chromium is de facto proprietary software.
Not a problem with Firefox.
but everything else is
That's because you faggots can't see how much useful shit gets ignored by the management in case of the closed source software. You have no fucking idea
They basically tell you to only work on underspecced stuff that no one will ever use but some management retard thought was more important instead of fixing critical bugs.
t. Codemonkey working on a humongous proprietary codebase
>OPEN SOURCE IS GREAT!
Only sometimes. Chromium however is a mess. Code way too big to audit, and a monolithic design with feature creep and certain feautures randomly getting axed. No thanks
>woe is me life is so tuff sitting at a computer all day doing something i voluntarily went to school for and applied for
didnt they completely revamp under the hood like halfway into the browser's life cycle tho?
which is why opera eventually just used it instead of their own
I'm not whining about my job being tough, I'm whining about the retarded management with unrealistic expectations
Reading comprehension is important, you highschooler.
chrome devs don't trust the userbase. vertical tabs were ditched because they assumed no one would use it
Well you could buy a Mac, use safari and get out.
Not sure, but it's interesting that you mention Opera, because it does nothing but crash for me now.
>chromium
>open source
Chromium BTFO
>FF is great
>you still can not create bookmark folder when selected multiple links at once
>use case that applies to maybe 0.004% of all users
>this is somehow a reason why it's bad
seething
Most conflict has been over territory. Now we have open borders so all our hard won territory is given away.
If you don't like how they're managing the project feel free to fork it and fix it to your liking faggot
