How do you keep windows from snitching on you ???

>brand new hard drive
>hard drive prior just got corrupted
>had a bunch of vst's for music production
>every now and again a handfull would deactivate
>figured windows is snitching on me hard
>heard there is a program on mac called little snitch
>what it does is it keeps vsts or any application from sending out information to keep from an vst/ application from deactivation
>there has to be something simple, free to use on windows that does what little snitch does right >?

I use Fedora GNU/Linux instead.

debian just works

on windows ion want linux bb

fuck linux

use linux and run shit in wine.

By not using it

you shouldn't be using windows for audio in the first place

please shut the fuck up

latency is brutal and asio is useless

It's called a firewall. Windows has one built in.

eh windows 8 has option to block all outgoing conenctions but it literally blocks everything need to know how to be able to exclude browser and qbtorrent

The firewall works on a per program basis.

that is too time consuming and half the time not even work due to folder containing exe has multiple items with ways to send outbound connections

I need a way to block but exclude those but its extremely complicated (windows 8)

show me HOW

this is what I enabled (on both inbound and outbound) after disabling all services

>Core Networking - IPHTTPS
>Core Networking - Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP-In)
>Core Networking - IPv6 (IPv6-In)
>Core Networking - Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP-In)

and if your on a laptop especially enable

>Wi-Fi Direct Network Discovery (In)
>Wi-Fi Direct Scan Service Use (In)
>Wi-Fi Direct Spooler Use (In)

of course also enabling your wanted applications on both inbound and outbound.

yea linux is too complicated for me I rather stick to windows 8.1 fuck 10

would love a copy of window 8.5 (windows 9) if I could get my hands on it heard its extremely hard though .

!@ thanks much now I can download without worry of windows being a gaytard snitch

Good internet security software (pay for it). Don't go to places on the web you know you shouldn't be going to.
