Time for you to uninstall and finally ditch your stock Jewgle YouTube app in favor of the ever more improving NewPipe with each new release

You can either upgrade your current NewPipe BETA install
or you can install it alongside your stable NewPipe install

It's over. NewPipe devs are inevitably slowly killing off YouTube's stock app little by little. NewPipe is winning this one. Make the switch and disable/uninstall your stock YouTube app already Sup Forums

finally

Great release!
Now we wait for the haters.

Cool can't wait for next month when it comes to F-Droid

Is there a way to sign in from newpipe

No

> Still no comments
dropped.

Is there a way to make a backup of local subscriptions? I want to see if the new release fixed the problems of the app crashing with 50% of the videos, but I'm using the f-droid version and I don't want to lost them.

Yeah, go to Settings > Content > Export database
You can import them back once you install the new version

Nice. Thanks user. Have a wallpaper for being good.

that shit is bloat nigger

I don't know why it happens, but new videos often crash the player.
If I go back and watch the same video a couple of hours later, it works fine.
Is it some feature the uploader have added that doesn't work with newpipe or what can I do to identify the cause?

Aww yiss

Anyone here use library?

>beta
Nope

u'ar based user

Every other YouTube app is obsolete now.

Only problem I've ever had with this app is that it doesn't sort the videos on feed page so that newest content would be first.

It's a feature

no playlist import no download

YouTube Vanced is superior in every possible ways.

But NewPipe STABLE works well enough for me

into the trash it goes then

Live streaming was the only thing that stopped me uninstalling the official app. Many thanks

LITERALLY THE PERFECT YOUTUBE APP
BASED

>UI crash failure
kek

>botnet

Thanks for the progress report.
Nice software Anons.

How can i import subscriptions from old newpipe?

>beta
>still no stable release yet
*sigh*

>beta
How long until stable?

Why would you want a google account?

To synchronize between devices? Duh?

>enjoy cancer

I don't think comments are necessary, but I want to be able to pop out of the video, read the description for timestamps for example and then go back to where I was watching, not load the video from beginning. Fucking every timing belt replacement video ever, the job itself is 5mins but the faggots has to drag on for 40mins and my hands are full of grease and oil already.

to syncronize online playlists.

Meh, I'm sticking to iTube. Newpipe is good but it isn't made in mind for music which is what I use Youtube for.

dropped, as in dropped onto your phone because thank fuck it doesn't display comments?

>Unironically wanting comments on one of the most cancerous userbase of the internet

Split screen support when?

When will I be able to search for ASMR ear licking videos and have the results sorted based on the most viewed videos released within the last week?

Attached: 1514458111188.webm (1280x720, 871K)

that's the point

seriously update to f-droid are slow

does the app still forget the entire history of what I just searched for not 5 seconds ago or is there some history retention now for usability's sake?

usually takes 1-2 weeks.
if you can't wait: github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/releases

gotta give the gooks time to embed their malware into the release before they upload :^)

How do i change popup size? I keep press and it goes at the margin of the screen but cant return to small size.

there are unironically some good commentating communities for certain channels

They are just dumb freetards defending a piece of shit app

They are linustechtips audience, of course they don't want to read comments from kids that are even dumber than them.

Deflection

>UI CRASHED START CRASH

let retards be retarded

use RSS

Will we now be able to save our audio playlist without keeping newpipe running

I just want to thank you for this great app. I didn't know comment section was unnecessary until you showed me.

Any plans for being able to download music in a better quality?

>no in-app updates
>fdroid takes forever to publish
god damnit

This

>import subs

FINALLY

Now I can stop using their shit app.

When the fuck can I sort subscriptions feed in chronological order like SkyTube and regular YouTube do?
