What graphics display driver version do u have on your laptop? I have the same laptop and upgraded it with a 250gb ssd and a new install of windows 10 but now the display lags and has green flickers i think win 10 automatically installed the wrong driver

I believe the driver I downloaded was AMD R6. I had to download one of those shitty AMD detector programs initially, but after reinstalling windows it just auto found the driver. Try going to Drivers > Display Adaptor > Update, then select Choose from a list of default drivers. You should find one that way.

well I could have said "caffeine (coffee)" but everyone gets the point when I just say coffee anyway... by your logic, I should have said "Mixed amphetamine salts" instead of Adderall
Justin Bailey
I have tried that but it says i have the latest driver its a generic windows driver only 70mb and im sure its not the asus one the computer originally had. Ive also gone to the asus page and install the one off of the support site but as soon as i install it and restart it installs the same generic windows one.
Mason Butler
Maybe delete the generic windows one? Or just reinstall windows and let it update everything.
Aiden Torres
Yes i delete the generic one first before installing the new one but when i restart after installing the new one it will turn back on with the generic one. I have already done another fresh install of windows but its the same problem.
Grayson Adams
Realistically, why shouldn't I get an alienware? It seems like with graphics card prices as high as they are, that they have some contract which allows them to sell computers at a lower price than it would take to build the same computer by buying the parts individually.
