How's the new Nothing album? Pic related is nice.
My neighbor was mowing his lawn and I was vacuuming today and the combination of the two sounds was amazing
It's pronounced shogaze
it's shoegaze, as in gazing at your shoes, you literal fucking pleb
how's your first day in Sup Forums coming along?
it's pronounced like fugazi
It's a meme you dip
Spotted the new kid.
Looking forward to this. Pic related
OK I'll bite. What is this?
It was ok. Wasn't crazy about it, seemed to be moving closer to standard alt-rock, but I'll probably listen again and enjoy it more. Didn't come close to the split with Whirr though
eh... what about the new LSD and the Search of God?
SEANCE WHEN
nothing are pretty boring now
lost interest in them after the whole whirr twitter drama last year tho, since they were all so childish about it
I lost interest in Whirr after that as well. All the juvenile twitter drama cheapened their music beyond redemption for me.
Follow up album to Grow House?
Please get a soundclip
This, unfortunately.
Listening to MBV - Never Say Goodbye
Revisiting Before Loveless in the first time in a long time (forgot how jangle pop it is). It got me wondering if there are other shoegaze bootlegs ( not necessarily MBV) worth digging into. The
Pretty good actually, quite like it.
the new nothing album is so good
broadcast
it was a joke post, sorry. didn't sound like anything at all
but if life should have the same thing happen in the future, i'll record it. don't think it'll be very pleasant though
Ugh sounds like Teenage Fanclub or something. Do not want.
you dumb fucks let the last thread die, im mad at yall
shoe gay zee
they really need to stop moving towards butt rock and keep doing shoegaze. the more shoegazey tracks on the album are great; the butt rock songs, not so much.
Posting some newer bandcamp shoegaze that I really enjoy, for those who are tired of discussing MBV and Ride etc. Don't you die on me, thread..

So does Woody Grant browse Sup Forums or what?
who /bardopond/ here?
I'm not in any of these bands, just a fan. I love how you can't post a bandcamp artist on here without being accused of self promotion.
these guys are also great but as far as i know they broke up, great stuff here though
I like this too
Anyone have a link for it pls bbs
im on lsd
m83, title fight, whirr, teen suicide, /thread
you fucking schmuck theres still bands with shoegaze influence why dont you try researching before clouding up the chans with this gay shit
im warm
whirr when they had their female vocalist was amazing
sorta fell off after that and ofc when they got sjw'd into the abyss
well they were always assholes online so i guess it was inevitable but whatever
give me some good shitposts for when im on aciddd lolllll
>spending your trip looking at Sup Forums
Go sit under the stars. Observe the intricacies of trees and plants. Listen to an album you've never heard (or one you have extreme sentimental value for), Talk to someone about the meaning of life and the human race's cosmic significance. Ride a bike. Make some paintings, or a sketch, design a symbol, play with chalk. Talk to yourself in your own secret language. Think about all the things that you let bother you that don't matter in the end. Find your own beauty reflecting off the world.
Do anything but browse Sup Forums when you're on psychedelics man. Not to criticize your choices. But this is a place where I feel trapped, forever doomed to shitpost for the rest of my lonely nights. Go be free

Barlow is the shit
Laurels are the shit
Good to see some semi obscure stuff in here for once
If you want great obscure gaze try this
A true lost classic
It's become one of my very favorite shoegaze albums as time goes on
fuggg im not that guy but i wanna do all those things sober
maybe when im high too
actually skip the secret language part
Yeah I did that.
Thought the thread would have died by now but it didn't so that's good.
Actually im stuck in a hotel room full of sleeping people so im back to wasting the trip on shitposting
oh and to make this music related sound of ceres is probably one of the most impressive albums that i've listened to as far as my past full year of introducing myself to music although right now im listening to the jesus lizard
sound of ceres' nostalgia for infinity is what i was talking about

Barlow! I forgot about this one mate. nice one
Not as good as their first EP but still pretty good IMO - especially Without You.
Anyoneone got any shoegaze with melodic vocals - ala Asobi Seksu ?
You're looking more for dreampop than shoegaze, if you haven't listened to the classics (slowdive, cocteau twins, lush) then I suggest doing so.
Listening to shoegaze produced after 1995 is a fucking joke and you all know it. Electrogaze had a nice run, but it also died in 2000, and black gaze has exactly three decent albums, all released before 2007.
Revivals are cancer. This general is ridiculous.
hey user how was your weekend
A complete blur
>and black gaze has exactly three decent albums
Interested to know what you think they are.

Yes. He posted here or in a bandcamp thread one time, not sure if he still posts/lurks.
I'll give it a listen, thanks.
I've listened to Heaven or Las Vegas; Spooky; Split; Souvlaki; Pygmalion and Garlands from the ones you mentioned.
Any specific Dream-pop reccommendations?
I like Candy Claws/Sound of Ceres; Asobi Seksu; Sweet Trip; The Bilinda Butchers and Beach House.
>implying barlow isn't one of the GOAT shoegaze bands already
They've practically just started producing too, their peak is a long way away.
