Topre is very nice. It sounds like raindrops when I type on my fc660c.
upstroke is weak. Although the downstroke is very tactile.
I still prefer my skcm blues.
I never noticed the weaker upstroke. I just fell in love the moment I tried it. I wonder if that means I would like jades because I pick my fingers up faster than the keys come up.

Not in that layout but there is also the keycool currently on assdrop, the gk64, the gmmk, the teamwolf zhuque. You could also build a cheap 60% and use holtites.

It’ll be my first mech but I find that of all the layouts I’ve tried that HHKB was my favorite. This was the most accessible platform I could get cherry switches in this layout (Viper, RAMAworks, hunting down a GB case) besides the Tina-C but I wanted the option to hotswap.
