MODERN PUNK/HARDCORE GENERAL

thread yesterday was p good, let's do it again.

Screamo, noise rock, etc are indeed punk/hardcore, so post away

still lookin for more of the "weird hardcore" that was big in late 00s-early 10s

>pic related

for the user who asked yesterday, it's NASA Space Universe - Across The Wounded Galaxies

Q - RECQRD

singlerussiancuties1.bandcamp.com/album/recqrd

pretty good stuff

That's just a terrible video desu. I've seen them live a few times and it's never been like that. I've never seen them play in indiana though only chicago so maybe the scene is worse over there.

Good shit, rec anymore like this?

they have a new album coming out in july

for newer bands check out power trip, and outshined, for older bands check our leeway and last wishes by cro mags. also maybe biohazard, merauder, and crown of thornz.

What do you guys think of Free? (ex Have Heart members.)

freehc.bandcamp.com/releases

Nowhere near as good as Have Heart honestly, but still pretty tight

I have a hard time listening to new hardcore demos because of how saturated the scene is right now. I need something to stick out or I just listen once or twice then never again. Are they recognizable in any distinctive way or is it just any run of the mill youth crew band?

daybydayhc.bandcamp.com/

more crossover stuff

It's straightforward hardcore. The attention Free is getting is because the band consists of 4 of the guys who were in Have Heart.

they should have just stayed have heart

It would have been nice, yeah.

this is right up my alley thanks

>skinheads in charge of recording quality

cringe with me

youtube.com/watch?v=hGGGh03jN4w

looking forward to the album though

you're welcome, user. their 2014 release is what caught my attention youtube.com/watch?v=T4VJ4dFcG6M

bump i s'pose

anything good coming out this year that isn't beatdown bullshit?

I miss SYWH.

youtube.com/watch?v=9rtpa8HKbpw

so like where do I find show dates for these guys since they're all anti-internet n whatnot

spine, blood pressure, fury, higher power, eraze, the repos, nasa space universe, outshined, angel du$t and mindset all released new shit this year.

Weekend nachos, true love, mizery, bent life, power trip, and caught in a crowd are releasing new stuff soon too, and fury and higher power are working on their first LPs which should also be out some time this year.

also wondering this

I'm assuming they're still a band considering p4k did an article about them less than a year ago.

Remember kids, beatdown is good for your soul.

>supposed to see negative approach on wednesday and the show just got canceled

i hate everyone right now

bumpu

Old Gray starts recording a new album this week
It will be a pretty secretive process
Heard some demos
Expect something UNREAL

not sure you're in the right thread but I am pretty toked for that

Anybody here into midwest emo/screamo(?)

5 years too late bud

Gas Rag is pretty fucking good

Way too short lived though and they hardly played any shows

Does this count?
