Google, you can have all my god damned personal information.
Here I come, Chrome.

You're already a fucking tool using Windows, Zach
>Here I come, Chrome
Why, when there are several alternatives?
Both FF and Chrome eat all your RAM, and botnet aside, all their major issues are shared. If you want lighter browsing, try qutebrowser. The idea of what a web browser should do has been warped and now it'll never be performant again. Play your youtube videos in mpv to save resources. Not a lot else you can do.
this, try opera if you want to stick to a "cozy" web browser. (although if I remember right, it was bought by Chinese investors, so...)
I meant Inox browser, Ungoogled-chromium or Iridium browser.
Do you think Zach will bother looking into those?
like if chrome was any better lmao
Fuck off zach
stop ruining my name you faglord
I hope he will. That's enough replies for his thread.
I don't understand google's information keeping. I did the request archive of everything they have on me, and it was nothing. Like not anything. I have an android phone with a google account attached to it, and treat my phone like a public computer, and it doesn't have anything about me. I don't believe it. Not even a little. So what the fuck? Are they just lying now after that Curran guy blew up they're info? This is besides the fact that I'm sure they have info logs of pretty much everyone, account or not, because of how easy it is to track browser signatures and ip addresses, common logins from any account will easily tie all your histories together. They're not going to show people that shit, the profile they've collected on "you" regardless of google or facebook or whatever accounts you have or don't have.
Funny because I just switched to Firefox after another extensions turned into a cryptominer in chrome
I'm sure they store some "telemetry information" and "usage data" internally to "improve their services".
it sort of is
You’re already giving Microsoft everything anyway.
>Google, you can have all my god damned personal information.
>googledrivesync.exe
Does qutebrowser have any extensions to have MPV embedded in YouTube or other video sites?
/thread
You think it will be any different Zach?
Hey retard. I have 30 tabs and am using just over 1GB of RAM.
There are other settings you can tweak in about:config too.
Dumbass
Why would you throttle Firefox on purpose just so you have 15GB of free RAM instead of 12GB?
Because I have experienced no performance hits when having up to 30 tabs. Normally I don't have more than 8.
Somebody should shop this baby into the Mac image
>not waterfox
You brought this upon yourself.
lol
>tfw my name is also zach
feels bad. install linux and stop being a ramlet faggot
Just use Brave, Opera or Vivaldi if you want Chromium
Because I have 2 GB of RAM and sometimes only 1
>brave
Hey Zach post your website history.
It will help us determine how to fix your problem.
Kill yourself
34 tabs open and using way less than that... how many tabs you have open? Do you run ublock/umatrix or opening every ad connection? I block scripts selectively and shit to get these numbers though.
>1 process
the fuck are you doing.
its like you want 1 tab crashing and taking the entire browser down with it
Hmm? That never happens and I routinely have this many tabs open. I block a lot of shit by default with ublock and umatrix though. When I was on windows occasionally the OS woulb BSOD and kill firefox but then i just restore session. Maybe im just lucky or dont go to shitty sites or something idk. Does that happen to you often?
Not to embed it (though github.com
>googledrivesync.exe
>Thinks Google doesn't already know everything about him
Zachfags BTFO.
Your gonna be a bit disappointed. I'm at 2GB+
Vivaldi is also an option but it's strangely absent from any web browser thread on Sup Forums. I don't know why.
Cool story, Zack
Just tried that one yesterday, it has really cool tab grouping features.
>Are they just lying now... ?
Sadly, we all know the answer to that.
I ran it for a while, their panel solution is kinda cool too, but I found it quite a bit slower than firefox after everything was set up. Also crashes kept losing my tabs.
Firefox can't take any RAM since GNOME ate it all
how do you guys cut down on ram use?
less extensions?
cut down processes?
post your tweaks
ditching the de/wm tends to help
Don't be a tab hoarder and only have a couple of tabs open. Learn to use history.
Dumb question but does FF stable use less ram than beta or nightly?
I'm using beta right now since it seems decent compromise between updates and stability
Just buy more ram dummy.
>has Java installed
Opinion discarded.
I smiled
Am I only /opera/ guy here?
You remind me of a man who's wife I fuck.
>shilling Chrome this hard
Chrome is a dumpster fire, its just the best dumpster fire we happen to have right now.
I am seriously beginning to consider trying MS Edge unironically on win10 pcs.
Shit opinion is shit just like chrome and any browser that forces data gathering with no way to turn it off
>he browses /gif and tranny pr0n on ie....
I've used palemoon for years and haven't found a reason to switch

it all makes sense now
and who the fuck doesn't know how to get rid of ticks you moron you have to set them on fire
Yeah, Moonbeam's (or whatever the fuck his name is) attitude of
>imma dev so muh word is LAW
on the forums of a meme furry deliberately deprecated firefox fork kinda made me go back to chromium...
