I like the classical solar 200m more.

if the re-issue has a flat back like the 8l55 limited edition, but also lowers the front glass and bezel because it's a 200m watch now, I really don't care about if there is a weird X on the face.
The only real failure IMO is if the reissue is somehow just as heavy while losing every spec of evidence that showed the human touch of the MM300 production.

>1967
>cheapo JDM
I just realized this shitter would be a perfect Nam LARPing watch. Too bad it's completely fucked, the mainpsring barrel wobble for example is huge.

Looks like lizard

Attached: hirsch-lizard-bruin.jpg (750x750, 221K)

Pointless text on the dial is annoying and a pointless logo is maybe even worse. What does professional even mean? Still not as bad as Bagels and their lofty boasts about the caseback being stainless steel, wow impressive stuff!

Attached: $_1.jpg (400x400, 31K)

Nice, I've been meaning to get one of those but they say "slight padding" and I wasn't sure if they wouldn't be too tight, looks nice and thin on that Omega. I'll be getting one.
ROTOR SELF-WINDING is probably the worst.

There are going to be three new versions of the old "marinemaster" (the now-discontinued SBDX017):

1) the actual successor to the SBDX017 is the new green SLA019.
It's pretty much exactly like the outgoing SBDX017, except it's green, slightly taller, has a ceramic bezel and sapphire glass, and the X on the dial instead of "marinemaster". Same movement as the SBDX017
It's also about 1k more expensive than the SBDX017.

2) the "re-issue" of the 6159 is overall bigger and taller than the SBDX017, has a hi-beat movement, and is well over 6k.
It does NOT have the X on the dial.

3) two cheapo versions (SPB077/SPB079). They're only like 13mm thick, with cheapo hands and finishing and the X on the dial. Powered by the 6R15.

Does anybody else do a little wrist flick to center the watch and move your sleeve back before looking at the time?

Is the pic of ripped TGV really the TGV himself?

No, I use correcrtly sized bracelets and straps

This is my watch

Attached: 20180328_044306.jpg (2363x2340, 2.31M)

Attached: tgv_gains.jpg (344x304, 30K)

I raise my arm up so that the sleeve retracts

Attached: 89E84BBB-C57A-448C-80E2-977146DAC4AE.jpg (640x854, 81K)

and the flick I use sometimes if the nato is loose

>no lats

what about the one in the wife beater

Okay chiao

That is legit too

It doesn't actually move on my wrist, it's just reactionary.

From where do i buy a 22mm blue stingray watch strap?

Aquarium touch tank+box cutter

Mallnigger here, got sick of working on shitters, bought pic to build something that's not completely frustrating.

You ne/wt/s should have a look at this auction. It's a jackpot of king penises.

Yep, it's pure class to check the time that way.

Buy some used quartz shitters in bulk on egay and get batteries on ali and change them than resell them local. That would kill some time senpai. You could make a profit too.

My pride and joy..

Attached: IMG_20180328_053145_683.jpg (2304x4096, 3.23M)

Pity most of them look like shit.
Still if you can get them running you could flip a few

how do I stop buying more watches?

I dunno but can you teach me

Attached: sd34563.png (821x869, 36K)

I keep doing it too. None of them are even good.

Put my funds into a V E R Y R A R E shitter, so I have to pass this one.

I bought a watch box with as many slots as I have watches. If I want another watch, I have to sell one.

Nice. Please show front.
Does it wear as thick as it is?

Make one of your more expensive wants next on your list and save up.

Post your perfect three watch line-up.

He never got even reasonably big he just had some abs. The wifebeater picture is him at his heaviest pushing out his biceps with his fists. it is the most cringe worthy shit possible.

damn that looks insane. Omega is fucking killing it right now.

Yes. It looks objectively better on any sub 9 inch wrist and even the mouth breathing retards will figure it out.

Hope not

This is growing on me so much.
It's only 12mm thick as well compared with the Seamster 300 which is 15mm...

Attached: Railmaster.jpg (800x600, 129K)

Such a nice watch but that price tag.

Am I the only one who thinks that modern omegas look like mall watches? I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but most of them have something repulsive

Most shit I see in malls are Citizen, Bulova, Timex, Seiko, Casio, and Movado. And it mostly consisted of the bland models. Nothing like that.

Yup. Can pick it up for £3300 with the steel strap.
I do wish the hands were a bit more exciting as well.

Attached: Olympic.jpg (409x674, 46K)

I find the normal seamasters do just because they were copied so much in the 90s.
I find their recent vintage style ones pretty damn classy.

Attached: Seamaster 300.jpg (500x500, 62K)

How much cheaper is the 200m version?

>hideous bracelet
>smoothened crown guards and a small crown
>hideous hands
>useless gas valve

I’m surprised why people buy these abominations, in my eyes they look like 90’s TAGs

Buy one really good and expensive one.
Done.

Yep, I tend to agree, vintage railmaster has a far more classic look.

I feel like a lot of brands have lost their magic though

Well there is this one but it's £6000.

Dress, beater, daily driver.

Thoughts on oris as a brand?
Kinda interested in the 36mm diver but not sure at that price point. MSRP is 2175$. Do you think it's worth it?

Attached: IMG_20180328_195805.jpg (720x587, 146K)

Hopefully some brands will die and others will rise, it’s no use when customers attach themselves to a name while it’s going to shit. Currently I think that Tudor is amazing and I’m really excited to see what they’ll offer in the future.

Is Omega servicing more expensive than Rolex servicing?

IS it generally smarter to buy watches in good condition but used? Seems like the biggest price drop is in the first purchase...

Cool!
>We're using an existing movement design as the basis, but literally making every component ourselves!
>Cool!
>We're giving it a central running seconds hand, like the Lemania 5100!
Cool! Literally everyone is building on the 7750, it's nice to see someone building on the Lemania 5100 for a change!
>Oh, but we're building it on the 7750 too.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Wait till it hits grey market if you really want it.

Here you go.. Not at all. It actually sits very nicely on the wrist.

Attached: IMG_20180326_020555_509.jpg (1080x609, 166K)

What is the problem? Any of the issues the 7750 has will clearly be solved.

For having a "nice watch" you take absolute garbage pictures. Prob fake and homo

I think the new one looks way nicer.

I think I'm starting to just appreciate older watches more and more, they served more of a purpose then, it wasn't just a luxury thing. I also enjoy things when I know there's less of them around.

Most of these brands seem to just be regurgitating each other's trends and the prices of these watches are absolutely insane.

I agree. The movements especially are truly remarkable.

Pepsi bezel divers. y/n?

YES

They are good enough.. Pretty difficult to copy the silicone escapement.. Check my rear photo.

just found these suckers in a drawer. left belongs to my stepfather, middle one's from my ma and I don't know who the fuck the right one belongs to

what do you guys think? should I invest a bit of money in getting the left one into shape? I know nothing about watches so genuine question. I really like the dial and size of it. would have to let the glass get repaired and I'd probably put on a leather strap because the current strap (as well as the case itself) is pretty battered.
I'll definitely put a new battery into the seiko 5 because my mom got it like in the 80s. can anyone identify the model? the back doesn't help me at all

Attached: watches.jpg (4128x2322, 3.71M)

This definitely isn't fake. The movement on the fake ones are pretty bogus.

>battery
are you baiting by any chance? If so it’s 9/10, best bait I’ve seen in years

anyway, just bin them

Sorry to tell you this but the only one worth anything is that Playboy one on the right.
This is super rare and I've been lookign for one for years! Name your price, senpai.

>I'll definitely put a new battery into the seiko 5 because my mom got it like in the 80s.
7.5/10 I replied

If the movement is indeed cuck-axial (and you could probably see that through the caseback) then it's genuine, since nobody can reverse-engineer this finicky dogshit escapement when even Omega could only barely make it work.

The chink rep level of quality is just your standard Omega finishing.

fuck me, my bad. my head was still with the goddamn timex on the left. I was literally confused for a second when I saw that the Seiko was "still" functioning. only the glass for the Seiko obviously. no bait, just my own stupidity because I was in a hurry

>anyway, just bin them
for real? why throw them away? the Seiko still functions and the Timex doesn't even look that bad

Shit, I'm buying one. When are they available?

Set WTM lesbian crisis actor CNN girlfriend I need to watch to where do you want to see pictures of my feet?

This is a replica Co-axial movement for reference. It's not that bad...

Attached: Rep Cuck-Axial.jpg (1084x787, 97K)

Omega's been making the co-axial work like a dream for over 10 years now.

The early retrofitted generations had problems, but that goes for anything even remotely experimental.

>
>They are good enough.. Pretty difficult to copy the silicone escapement.. Check my rear photo.
Correction. Silicone balance spring and balance. Tough to copy...

The dial and hands are literally perfect.

That looks like shit.

it's the cheapest one of the three, isn't it?

Fake ones never show the balance wheel which in the real ones is silicone. In my photo you can see it.

That gay as fuck rainbow Rolex made me feel the same.

I kinda felt the Rolex mystique. But it's totally been shattered for me recently.

Maybe an explorer you best the shit out of.
Or a speedy or something like a tuna Seiko.

I want something that isn't jewelry

I guess you could wear the Seiko until it stops working. Unless you feel a sentimental attachment to it probably not worth servicing.

They have you dip.
The entire 8xxx series is flawless.
