What's the greatest closer of all time, Sup Forums? What are your candidates, anyways?
I can think of:
>A Day in the Life
>Sister Ray
>Desolation Row

I can think of:
>A Day in the Life
>Sister Ray
>Desolation Row
My personal favorite is Derek
The End - The Doors
Day in the life is a close second tho

Also
>Long Season Part 5
>Alvin Row

Desolation Row
That's a tricky one. I'd probably go with both, depending on my mood.
Although Good Vibrations should be in there too.
Who /earthmover/ here
E A R T H M O V E R
Even though I doubt any of you here have heard it, Bone Bomb is probably the most brilliant and unsettling closer possible for an otherwise tranquil album.
Other than that, some other examples that stick out to me are "The Alarm" by Big KRIT, "Ponytail" by Panda Bear, and "Sleeping on the Roof" by The Flaming Lips.
Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands is phenomenal
it was a toss up between both of these for me, but i think Desolation Row edges it out just oh so slightly. neither answers are wrong tho
great choice
This is such a good song, but the rest of the album is no where near as good.
For me it's probably Cassandra Gemeni.
>25 SNAKES POUR OUT YOUR EYES
but Montreal by Ataxia is also a contender
Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands
seconded
dude the The Beatles' best closer is The End
Desolation Row, Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue were all great closers.

it might not be the best song to close one of their albums (even though it's their best song period) but it is the one that is best as a closing song
Wendell Gee

The Overload
Crazy Rhythms
Lose Yourself In Me
Here Comes a Regular
Riot Act
