my guitar playing is fucking horrible, I don't know why I released this. At least I had fun making this, and I think that's what counts
still good, this is surviving the test of time. The video is also wonderful!
holy shit that was incredible, keep it up!
I've been listening to this everyday since I found it, this is just way too good. I don't think it should be free, because you could actually get a lot of money. I would pay for this.
The vocals are so good! I really dig them!
As always, this is just perfect (i love HANL and Giles Corey)
sorry for the awkward "feedback"!
dude I've said this before your music is fine the fact that you have enough imagination to whip up something like that puts you above like 60% of the population
I hope so

I'd love love love people to listen and download, and feedback even more so. Gonna work my way through this thread now. The album was inspired by English folklore, as well as artists like Talk Talk, Miles Davis, Arthur Russell. Steve Reich, and David Sylvian. Cheers guys x

big recs check em out:
Thank you. Our music is simple by design. We are very much into creating music that someone with minimal experience could pick up and play. We even plan to sell a chord book as part of our merch.
In your vid... The bassist is a monster. Drummer falls in and out of the groove a bit, and the guitar line is kinda silly. I think you are onto something cool, but that take needs to be tightened up a bit.
thank you very much!
>The bassist is a monster.

its bad dude. I've recently realized that my music is just another form of my ego and i use it as an excuse to hide away from everyone.
I actually feel bad for giving you that link but since you asked for it..
Just released some new stuff!

>bedroom folk? no idea.
It's not that good but it's at least better than the last one, My brother plays the bass in the 7th song and that's honestly the best one (in my opinion, of course)
at least something that I like is the cover, it's comfy as fuck
do people normally not give feedback in these threads
>do people normally not give feedback in these threads
Yes
that's unfortunate, the whole reason I posted was so that I could get constructive criticism
oh well
Some people do give genuine feedback, but most people either post and leave or just have a wall of reccs with no comments.
tbf most of the regular people have already given feedback to most of their recs at some point since its the same 10 people posting every time
>skabetty.bandcamp.com
I love the warm sound of this album and all the arpeggiated guitar parts. keep it up!
Also, thank you! i'm glad you like my stuff too. I changed the track from free to name your price and the full album will probably be 1$ when it comes out.
me
I feel like the point of these threads is to spread your albums for people to download, not to criticize
The reason these threads are so shit often is because you have to dig through the amateurs looking for criticism to find the really good full albums. No one is willing to dig.
Overall BC threads need to be split into criticism and free-download-music type shit. Not implying that you shouldn't offer critique to the latter, but I do suggest that the confusion between the two in these threads kind of make them less than what they could be.
glad you do user
