RHCP is shit

>RHCP is shit
>Frusciante joins, they get good
>he leaves, they get shit
>Frusciante joins again, they get good again
>he leaves, they get shit again

Is there any band where who the musical genius was is more obvious?

Matt Sharp in Weezer, even though he never came back.

could it be any more obvious?

I fully agree except my favorite RHCP track is My Friends

The Rentals > Weezer

What albums was he on?

Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, By The Way, Stadium Arcadium

>RHCP is shit

should've ended your post there.

why did he jump around somuch

Heroin addict that hated the fame. Go look it up.

So true OP

Every deakin album is a 10/10

Got addicted to heroin in the 90s.
Relearned how to play guitar. Then wrote some more good songs.

And now he quit again doing who knows the fuck what. Probably shooting up with Johnny Depp in a Beverly Hills mansion as we speak.

because rhcp is shit and he only joined because Flea is his friend

...

it really is true, but some of the Deakless stuff is good too

James Iha leaving Smashing Pumpkins

Bill Berry leaving REM

Bill Bruford leaving Yes.

>implying Relayer and Drama arnt based as fuck

>when Sharp was asked about his future with Weezer, he brought up the fact that he hadn't heard any of their music since he left and that "if they (the albums) were bad, they'd probably be just as bad if I was there."

I liked RHCP's earlier stuff with Hillel, Uplift Mofo particularly. But otherwise, yeah I agree.

steven drozd/flaming lips

They started sucking for other reasons. Mostly the usual reasons for a band. I mean, he's obviously fantastic, but he never carried them.

AC/DC was pretty lackluster during their first 43 years, but the second Axl Rose stepped up to the plate they've been incredible.

lol

Jay Bennett and Wilco.

burzum

these
not these

Yeah... a guy who never wrote any Weezer songs was the "genius" in Weezer.

>RHCP
>ever good
>Weezer
>ever good

>freaky styley, umpp and ohm arent among their best albums

wew boy

BIlly did most of the song writing but its true when he let James have a say in the music was GOAT (Mayonaise, Soma, etc etc) pus james has some songs he wrote that are b-sides where he sings that are great too

was is more obvious

I defy anyone to list one album's worth of great songs Slash wrote without Izzy's involvement. Snakepit, Velvet Revolver, solo, whatever. Gimme 12 great tunes.

Pro-tip: You can't.

lol, billy was obviously the mastermind

but james was definitely a talented guitarplayer

100% accurate. Literally the saving grace from Wayne Coyne's bullshit.

The red hot chili peppers now, with josh's genius.

...

Here's a 'The biggest no shit in all history' for you, deir.

In fact, RHCP wrote some fascinating songs with Josh. Take "Catch my death", "Pink as floyd" and "Meet me at the corner" for instance.

those are heavy exceptions though considering the rest of what they wrote with Josh.

No one has posted the obvious beach boys
