Fuck the Police

I really appreciate bands that knew when to stop

do you think if they hadn't stopped after synchronicity, their next album would have sucked?

do u guys on Sup Forums know any music that isn't made by niggers

Not really, Sting was still pretty inspired by that time, but to me it feels they stopped making music at the right moment

stewart copelands cool

yeah the guy's amazing, and summers is easily my favourite guitar player

do you like copelands solo stuff - klark kent, and the african stuff

why does Sup Forums care so little about old good music. the police were surely one of the best bands ever right? but Sup Forums cares more about modern shitty alt and try hard hip hop and solo stuff.

you bet your ass I like klark kent

PS is it just me or the first song actually sounds like a Spyro the dragon track? You can definitely hear that copeland was behind it

Just get ready for a /sting/ general when he kicks the bucket

fuckin rad. klark kent rocks.

do you know where to his film. called the rhythmatist. the one he made when he went to africa

who will go first, sting andy or stewart?

fuck I've never heard about it, is it any good?

cant find it. ive listened to the album, and found the photo diary. but cant seem to track down the film anywhere

Ok time to kick the shit out of google, we need to find it

gotta say andy, iirc he's the one who did more drugs and was even homeless for a while

youtube.com/watch?v=cq2NSJoT6O0

good luck. i certainly hope u can track it down. I CANNOT anywhere. not even on any torrent sites

no luck so far, but I've found this interview I've never seen before

youtube.com/watch?v=bDsS7LYP6lY

yep thats a good interview. im a huge fan and have seen this a few times.

the film isnt anywhere on youtube i dont think

seems like you can only buy it on VHS for 50 bucks

gonna post cool videos I find while I search for it anyway

PS I'm pretty sure the music in this documentary is also from stewart copeland

youtu.be/Y6WW6xJ55-c?t=1424

nailed it

god damn i coulnt tell. not enough drums for it to click for me.
can i record and upload a VHS? if i can ill buy it

I think so, I live in a shithole but plenty of places are still converting vhs tapes to dvds, I'm sure there are even cheaper ways, like you could link your monitor to the vhs player and record everything that goes on screen or some shit like that

There used to be a rip of The Rhythmatist on youtube, but it appears it's gone now. It was only released on VHS/Laserdisc (the LD in japan only.) It's a goofy low-budget film, but the soundtrack album is good.

I think Andy's "One Train Later" was the best read out of the three memoirs.

I still need to watch the documentary based on it, "Can't Stand Losing You: Surviving the Police"

ROOOO-XANNE!

Fuck, that song gives me feels. Used to sing it with my dad off the top of our lungs.
