That record, not only perfect in it's execution and in retrospect, but it made it possible for bands like Interpol, Arcade Fire, The Killers, The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Kings Of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Black Keys, and pretty much every other indie band to be accepted into the mainstream.
