Hello friends, this is a thread for experimental music discussion. To clarify: Noise, drone, electroacoustic, free improvisation, futurism, indeterminacy, musique concrete, sound collage, and all that good stuff.
What have you been listening to? What have you been making? Movie and literature recommendations, concert experiences, gear, etc. are all welcome
do you people seriously think this milquetoast and mediocre electroacoustic music is good

0.02 by albur! Its an "experimental" post-rock record, I really enjoyed
Andrew Gutierrez
>experimental post-rock Nope. Anyone know what genere is this album?
Isaiah Mitchell
say, I want to get into experimental music, what would you recommend?
Bentley Flores
It's great to ease into it by listening to more contemporary artists with an experimental edge. If you're interested at all, this album features power electronics, free jazz, noise pop, folk, and melodic harsh noise that might help you out while retaining a singer-songwriter format.
Man, you'll guys love my upcoming album, it's some complex shit. Might be out by maybe July (?)
Nolan Hernandez
Been meaning to get around to this for a while. What are we in store for?
Oliver Davis
Raw - long sound collage with raw data sampled a lot Iperion/Tandark 7000 - layered glitch that turns into noise windowlistener/UUDDLRLRSLST - full on noise, he does raw data stuff similar to what I did and I do noise that's more structured Clairvoyance/Alien Sights - ambient that turns into noise, my most popular release
Isaiah Harris
I shared this before but I don't think anyone looked
It's experimental/compositional/poprock/IDM kind of blended together.
If the idea of MBV, Teenage Fanclub, Stockhausen and Aphex Twin put into a blender and turned into something else sounds interesting to you, I really hope you'll give it a chance. Cheers!
