only 12 of those are good

Then rate them you fuck
I think I only had like 12-20 good ones on mine

bump

the fuck guys you do this for Sup Forumscore all the time

jesus christ newfag

feelsgoodman

>7 to Pet Sounds
>8 to Doolittle
newfags everyone

Petsounds is overrated as fuck senpai. It's good pop music, but overall Doolittle is more consistent/unique

>rating Velvet Underground albums the highest

You literally just like music because it's edgy

why do you prefer gybe to mingus? otherwise nice

47/100

pleb status

90/100 and i love like half of them

whatever

you literally did not give a single negative rating

>5 and 6 are not negative

no they are not
i guess 5 is arguably

>i don't like music lol im so patrician

I just don't see how Mingus is great when Ornette Coleman was actually pushing boundaries in the same time period.
Actually I like plenty of music as you could see.

...

remember: music is subjective

Man, i feel like i hate you

>Blonde on Blonde 0
>Rain Dogs 0
>In The Aeroplane Over The Sea 10

That's not an excuse to avoid criticism for your taste.

i dislike dad rock

Buzzwords are not arguments and an albums release date is not an expiration date.

Close to the Edge, Meddle, and Astral Weeks are the only 5/5s on that chart desu

but you gave Abbey Road an 8?

whatcha think

Ratings out of five, if that's not obvious
I can't believe there's not one but three Black Sabbath albums on this list. I mean I like them but come on. Ditto w/ Metallica

Check out:
>Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
>Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
>Godspeed - F#A#oo
>Velvets - s/t
>Can - Future Days

Anybody got some recs for me out of what I've yet to listen to?

Stop.

>an albums release date is not an expiration date
I'm not the person you replied to but I have a really hard time liking old music as much as new music simply because of the sound of it and the way music was written at the time. It just doesn't connect with me. So while I agree that music is timeless in some aspects, in others it isn't because music changes with culture. It's completely normal to gravitate to music made in the generation you grew up in. Same goes with any art.

Although dismissing something as "dad rock" generally pisses me off. It's just a stupid term to dismiss music you don't like in that era without actually giving a reason as to why you don't like it.

>post-70's tom waits
>dad rock
wew

You gave Tago Mago and Mingus both 6s. Are you actually serious?

Close to the Edge and Rain Dogs.

THIS IS TRULY THE FUTURE OF MODERN MUSIC

This is just my taste. No taste in music could possibly make one cool, edgy, or special.

74/100
most are decent but overrated, especially the clash and led zeppelin awful bands.
your ratings will get lower the more music you listen to
