I know, that's why I'm trying to expand. A man's gotta start somewhere.
By the way, I found them all by reading interviews and wikipedia articles about music that I liked or found interesting. Never used pitchfork

Thank you for your recommendations.

I should have mentioned that I'm also familiar with Stockhausen, Schaeffer, Delia Derbyshire, Tim Hecker, Arca, Coil....

however I really disliked Arca and Hecker sounded kind of dull and boring

Hrvatski/Keith Fullerton Whitman
Bogdan Raczynski
Ricardo Villalobos
Vladislav Delay

Um check out the Basic Channel, Chain Reaction, Rhythm & Sound, & Main Street catalogues
Check out Mille Plateaux, I really like Modulations and Transformations 4
Kompakt Total series of comps, 3 & 6 especially
I like Kompakt as a label because the techno + pop + ambient thing is a nice blend, their Pop Ambient comps r cool
Do you know Gas?
The Superlongevity comps on Perlon might interest you if you end up digging Villalobos

well, thank you very much.

>my favorite musicians are all the basic Pitchfork fodder
>posts stockhausen

wooooooooooooooow, you must be like super patrician , teach me please

What does Pitchfork think of Stockhausen I haven't read their reviews of him

nothing? thats not the point m9

>It's not the point that Pitchfork doesn't care about Stockhausen nor any releases of his compositions

Vladislav Delay is underrated.

Black Dice - Load Blown
Ochre - Lemodie
Plone - Top and Low Rent
FaltyDL - Love is a Liability
Susumu Yokota - Sakura

All great underrated albums.

For sure, Multila is dank. I like his other alias Luomo's Vocalcity just as much.

>cares this much about p4k
>thinks Stockhausen is anything better than any p4kcore band

Can I ask here too?

I really, really like Street Horrrsing by Fuck Buttons. Is there anything like it?

Didn't really like their other albums btw

Do you not know anything about 20th century music or something
Have you looked at the score to Gruppen
Have you studied the post-war avantgarde period in an academic setting
I don't think you have

So kindly leave this thread.

my favorite artists are aphex twin, kraftwerk and BoC too

haha, analyzing music in an academic setting is the most hilarious thing i can imagine, must be nice listening to those elitist faggots discussing wankery. i get it that you believe that listening to stockhausen makes you the ultimate music listener, but thats just not the case

Tycho

Here we have another example of the average Sup Forums NEET: a 14-18 year old with barely any education acting as if the superior knowledge of another adult does not matter as much as their own, uninformed opinion.

This Sup Forums NEET, ultimately, craves attention; after all, their opinions are not worth enough to stand on their own. So they must antagonize the more knowledgeable in an attempt to get attention.

The best strategy, however, is to ignore them. They are pathetic people so this makes them feel awful. So that's what I'll do.

>being this butthurt over wankery
kek at you senpai, go back wanking over kontakte instead of being this much of a faggot

>he isn't NEET

lol how does it feel to have barely any free time and be miserable every day?
