>Experimental, Various Genres

>New Release

>Where's The Humanity?
>Ambient, Chillwave, Field Recordings, Hypnagogic Pop, Lo-fi, Musique Concrete, Noise, Progressive Electronic, Synthpop, Vaporwave.

Including collaborative efforts from:
MC469, Windowlistener, Jaryk, Even Oxen, Tidepools, Dear Laika, Pleasance House, Lonely Ghost, as well as some other friends of mine.

The album was initially moved from May 10th to June 7th. However, some components of the album have yet to be finished. So the album has been moved to June 21st for now. However, I would like to give people a glance at the album, as I already have half of it finished, so I will set up the album for pre-order, with the first track available for listening.

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. :)

donning trip

hey i have a question, are you a christian yourself? or did you just look to the bible for inspiration?

cavbrew.bandcamp.com/album/excerpts-from-a-larger-work
>Drone, Post-Downtempo, Noise, Dark Ambient, EAI

haha yeah I'm a Christian.

well tahts just fab as fuck. ive been just consuming julien bakers stuff, and i think shes a wonderful role model thats gotten me misty-eyed over when i used to be a christian, so i think that (and the sung tong feels) made your record hit me a particular way.

you ought to be proud of yourself cos in my 3 years coming here (not much atc but 3 years is 3 years) ive never heard a project that actually touched me in anyway until your album. it really is exceptional in my eyes

Fuck Epiglottis; that man got no talent

>that man got no talent
irony

Yes, because I make glitch music in audacity by using default distortion on old David Bowie b-sides. Let us get over ourselves here and admit that you are a man with a large penis.

not made with samples by other artists but whatever you say ;)

Not made with samples of David Bowie B-sides... pshaw... my ass. Keep telling yourself that you have talent and stop using "input raw data" as a means of fitting in with the "bandcamp crowd". I'll have you know that I run this whole thing and wouldn't mind blacklisting you.

thanks for the kind words!

Don't start shit that you can't finish
Now go run home and remove your trip-code before you embarrass yourself anymore, little boy.

and i didnt mean for that to come off like im some pundit for good taste or something, what i meant was that most people (myself included) who pass through these threads dont always grab my attention, or have like parts a, b, and c but not d and e, so a project falls flat for me. even if its music i normally would like, there just isnt enough development. this goes for lots of people, i mean were all growing and learning what we want to be doing with ourselves.

all i was saying was that your album was the first from these threads that i actually felt compelled to download and listen to on my own time

I really appreciate that man, and honestly comments like yours do make me grateful that I was able to make music in the first place. I'm surprised at how much more support I've actually gotten from the secular community as opposed to a Christian one (which is fine by me). I'm just glad people are listening.

Even though I don't know you past the few songs you've put out I like what I've heard and I'm eagerly waiting to see what you bring to the table. Oh and Baker's album was really nice, I'm excited for what she does next too.

RECS
surprised I haven't listened to this yet, this is really well-made, arranged, and thought provoking stuff, love it so far

can U do a live video of The Corner pls

What the fuck are you even on about, BRO?ag

How can you blacklist anyone when you got blacklisted last thread

Haha Eureka! I'd never forget about you man, you were one of my favorite artists putting out music in these threads in 2013 & 2014. I remember when the album featuring that picture saw a cassette release and all of them sold out. Kicked myself for not buying on before it did.

So hey man, glad to see you're still at it. Your newer songs speak to me from a singer-songwriter level but your instrumental approach is just as nice.

Was there something that triggered the change in style? And what about your Eureka project?

Yeah what the fuck, that guy is autistic

I envy Jacob's production.

Which reminds me. I find it funny that you told me about someone who would be interested in producing Christian post-rock because honestly I'd rather have you be my producer for the next album.

i wanted to make music that actually connected with people and stood to help/comfort others. though it seems i did that with lifter, it was only this record, and kinda by accident it seems. prob was the james murphy sample

the singer/songwriter approach seems kinda lame lol, but ive always wanted to do it but was either too self-conscious to try and risk making mediocre stuff for a little bit (like i am currently) or it seemed too intimidating, like i didnt have enough instrumental/lyrical ability. julien baker (not even through her music but just i guess because of how positive she is) made me want to just start writing lyrics and songs and im ok if theyre bad currently. now im getting really hyped up for putting records together and writing stories and such. so things are looking nicer than they were when lifter came out

heh well I don't think your songs are bad at all. They show a lot of promise in their melodies and arrangements. If anything I hope you go out there and make a name for yourself the same way Julien did. Obviously in due time but people genuinely like your music and I see nothing but great things in store for you if you keep at it.

Haha this is seriously a trip knowing you're still here. Made my night.

atm I lack a camera but at some point in the future I'd love to

haha i appreciate that. i got into a bit of a depressive rut that made me stop posting here (a good thing desu) and lose my drive for creating anything. i guess im glad i came when i did because theres lots of interesting projects in here now.

From what I've been experimenting with, new stuff is likely to be more loops, minimalism, glitch, violin, piano...
