Nirvana or Radiohead? Which one is better

Posting in a bait thread

Both are the best bands ever

Twenty one pilots

Nirvana obviously. Radiohead is just boing.

Not bait btw, it's my genuine opinion on the subject.

No Nickelback option??

Nirvana

I haven't listened to either in a couple years, I'd have to say radiohead

Airbag blows the fuck out of anything on Nevermind.

Haven't listened to In Utero yet but from what I've heard it's an improvement over the former.

In Utero and Bleach are both so much better than Nevermind. Also check out the Boombox rehearsals if you haven't yet.

radiohead. so easy

It's way more raw (Steve Albini produced) and about ten times sadder. I like it, but I think Nevermind's better

This. It's not even fair. Nirvana ended just when they were getting really good, while Radiohead had time to improve their skills and cover more sounds.

life's not fucking fair

what's your point, we're judging the bands on what they put out obviously not their potential

summer

This.

Explain how generic grunge is more interesting than Paranoid Android.

What an aggressively stupid post

>Implying Nirvana wouldn't become shit like most bands that have a long discography

Fuck you it's Imagine Dragoons

How the fuck is this even a comparison?

No, seriously, I want to know in what way this can't be a troll thread.

Explain how Paranoid Android is better than generic grunge.

Well for starters the guitar riffs are more memorable than anything on Nevermind.

Radiohead no contest. Nirvana may be the most overrated band of all time

Kind of this tbqh

Not him, but dynamically more diverse, harmonically richer, more interesting chords and changes used, technically more complex while still being accessible and emotionally loaded, tight ass interplay between all instruments, dat bombastic solo displaying Jonny's unique style, etc.

You should learn to appreciate the qualities in stuff, even without liking said stuff.

Radiohead
It might have been Nirvana if they had more time to get better and mature, but Courtney prevented that

I would disagree, when it comes to memorability Paranoid Android doesn't top Smells Like Teen Spirit or even other songs like Come as You Are.

That doesn't mean Paranoid Android is worse though (it's much better than those two songs) but basing song quality on the memorability of the riffs is dumb.
