Off topic but we /bergman/ now
Is it good?
I know the feels dood
I mean, I only picked up a guitar for first time 6 months ago so it's pretty simple I guess
Post it.
I'm ok with this, favourite berg film?
Don't have pleb friends, and don't rely on Facebook likes for validation.
We get it, you study film.
Winter Light OR Wild Strawberries OR Sawdust and Tinsel
Post it OP, I'll be nice about it
Is this the same guy who posted his bandcamp with the bergman album cover. Is this a meme now?
I don't study film...
cool, I've only seen wild strawbs from the one's listed. my favourite is fanny & alexander (so far).
this was meant to be a feels thread, now it feels a little shilly. but fuck it, here you go
soundcloud.com
It was kinda sorta a joke. A lot of Bergman fans I know are arty film students.
Feels threads need to die, I understand your intention, just don't make it a feel thread. If you need to shill, then be a bit more shameless about it.
The more my friends praise my work the more paranoid!!!
I can hear them saying bad and good things to me in my head when they are not there
It's probably shit, try again.
heyyy thanks my dude, you might be onto something with the reverb...what do you use?
compressed it, added a fuckload of reverb, slightly EQ'd, added a ring mod, added a 18% wet +7 semitone pitch shifter, then compressed it again
A lot of film students I know are fans of Spielberg
You don't need to be a college cunt to appreciate the beauty of motion picture
>Sup Forums hivemind
It doesn't bother me anymore.
I just share it with the musician friends that I know and the occasional person who cares enough to take a passing interest in my stuff anyways.
This was before I had any of the gear I needed to record by myself and it sounded like mopey singer-songwriter bullshit, so I don't blame them for it. I'm doing it for myself at this point, to hell with the rewards and the praise. All I want is something to show for the past few years I've been struggling to get the ball rolling. Not surprisingly, having a fully fleshed out band sound behind you really changes a song. I'm slowly learning keyboards and drums right now.
fuck it I like it
same
>Releasing your first song
This was your first mistake
>6 months
you're still shit then
Give it 3 years at least before you actually make something even worth listening to, let alone good
>been working on music on and off for years
>no irl friends ever care to listen
fuck 'em
Your first mistake is expecting anyone would give a fuck
