I don't need sympathy replies. but my mom died a few weeks ago and that album helped me through this pain. That album is something special.

Sorry to hear that, user. Have you listened to Carrie and Lowell yet?
I surprisingly haven't but I welcome any kind of distraction so I might.
(not the user who replied first) You should give it a listen but trust me, it won't be a distraction from your mom's death. On the contrary, it'll be a part of processing it. Feeling with you m8

This album is depressing as hell.
Album is great for driving around in the early morning or late afternoon, especially in the deep country where all you can see is fields and trees.
AND THEN NOTHING TURNED ITSELF INSIDE OUT
WHEN I WAS YOUNG
YOUNGER THAN BEFORE
Sure if you're a suburbian white teenager

Five Leaves Left is way comfier. Pink Moon is depressing as fuck
yeah i agree, but at the same time its really pleasing to the ear and relaxing. it puts me in a very strange place when listening because of how comforting some of the songs are but knowing the head space drake was in when he wrote it and taking the lyrics into account its quite depressing. i love it but i makes me feel torn.
