What's Sup Forums's favourite rock based movie

School of rock :PPPPPPPP

came here to say this

get him to the greek

I hope you're not being ironic because it's actually not a bad movie

Also obligatory This Is Spinal Tap

The Doors biopic, innacurate but entertaining nonethless.

Walk hard

American Pop

The Rutles (really good soundtrack too btw)

I also like this

this

I watched the Big Star documentary recently and thought it was pretty good

You're a groovy boy. I'd like to strap you on sometime.

>The Rutles
Fuck yeah!

Love & Mercy was pretty good

The Devil & Daniel Johnston if I'm being honest relatives and close associates

I win.

...

sound city was pretty cool

Spinal Tap, always and forever.

>this wes anderson derivative quirk-fest

nah

...

...

>rock based

this

also Love & Mercy

Bad News Tour / More Bad News

Its been more than a decade and I still can't decide if I like this move.

I like the book though... I think

oh god that cover
so early 2000s that it almost hurts
also pic related is my answer to OP

alternatively, this

pls don't hate me

Gotta be this

actually very good

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

love this movie honestly

The Ramones movie

Help is fun too but less sharp imo

I've probably seen School of Rock more times than any other movie. I'm not even sure how that happened

Same here. Saw it twice in the cinema, then another 10-15 times after that.

Rock & Roll, Country, Blues, whatever

Scaruffi gave this a 7.2 and he's a lot harsher with his movie ratings, it's not bad at all

that's so weird. i feel the same exact way. it's not like i ever went out of my way to watch it a ton of times.. it just kind of happened. i feel like i can recite it word for word now

Nice one
