Very pretty woman. I'd love to snap her fucking spine in two and watch the spinal fluid leak out.

Is she a composer? performer?

have any more of these?

youtube.com/watch?v=eo9Njks49xI

thoughts?

nope. sorry

imslp.org/wiki/Category:Manuscripts
there are also a billion and one manuscript databases out there (DIAMM).

I'm mostly interested in Medieval manuscripts. Is there a way to filter the results?

Use DIAMM (Digital Image Archive of Medieval Music). You can just browse or search for specific works/composers/manuscripts/cities etc. Cross-category searching is also possible on IMSLP too, yes, but they do not necessarily specialize in early music manuscripts.

youtube.com/watch?v=-oY-LCxueAA anyone here ever heard mayuzumi?

What's your favorite Tarantella and why isn't it Chopin's?
youtube.com/watch?v=xCbIFUz9wDw

Favorite polonaises? Chopin was also a master of these. Helps that he was polish

>It's a Poly episode

yes thats right, Schnittke is polystylism

So there is this guy im looking up called cristobal de morales, what are some of his works i should listen to? Or should i skip?

These two:

>two hours and thirty minutes

>mfw

guys where the FUCK CAN CHOIR RENAISSANCE SHIT?!

if your autistic dont forget to check out

Morales is without peer in the genre of imitation masses. The sophistication of his musical borrowing far exceeds that of any of his colleagues and predecessors. Personally I don't think his Aspice Domine, Quem Dicunt Homines and Si Bona Suscepimus masses will ever be topped. He also wrote the classic magnificat settings of the western canon, that has never been out of the repertory since it was printed in the 1540s. He was also extremely adept at writing motets in the fluid Flemish idiom current of his day:

In short, he was one of the finest composers of his day, if not one of the greatest writer for voice of all time. Certainly the Light of Spain in Music.

*You're

then you'll be sure to enjoy it!

god damn looked back at this shit, makes no fucking damn sense.

I was basically asking how i can get in a choir group and do lots of medieval/renaissance stuff

She's moderately attractive. That's all that matters.

>google choir groups near you
>email them
>go to their performances and express interest in joining
>???
>Join
>Cuck the qts

but thats scary, maybe i kind find someone i know and get them into choir music

but renaissance / medieval choir groups desperately need singers. Fucking do it.

>tfw so much fucking noise
what is the best way to shut people the fuck up

youtube.com/watch?v=9I-Ovumi9mA

no one comes close

>furtwangler

>over 10 minutes of mashing porridge
>a chain of equidistant dadada-ing
>harmonically barren even for a Bach piece
>seldom mentioned even by academics since there's literally nothing to talk about
>wouldn't even be known by a single person if it wasn't a Bach piece
>Nothing: The Composition

Truly an artifact from the brink of Elysium. If it were any greater our senses wouldn't even perceive it.

Hmmmmmm I like it!!

What does /classical/ thinks about this album? It was just released by one of the most important experimental artist of our century.

>The blind cannot judge colours
What did he mean by this?
youtube.com/watch?v=EFBKm66sJhc
youtube.com/watch?v=2hKZ-IUQ0XY

you can't be an important experimental artist unless you know what has already been done. ie. are a trained composer.

>tfw no 90s pianist qt to play four hands pieces with

Is she any good as a performer though?

You obviously have no idea who he is and even less heard his music.

Best album covers?

I like the art on this album cover.
