Different tonearms for different purposes

what is happening here

What sort of purposes?

I mean having separate cartridges for mono and 78s makes sense, but do they really all need their own tonearms? And what the fuck does that guy need a fourth for?

dudes got a brush

What a nutter

Four arms for playing 4 songs at the same time

stereo/mono/78/binaural

On the nakamichi TX-1000 one of the tonearms measures the record and the platter moves to center the record perfectly completely eliminating wow.

A lot of records are 0.5mm or more off center from the factory.

I just watched a video and apparently there's a third arm that folds out. So that only explains 2 out of 3.

Anyone know what that double shaft tonearm on the left is?

Buy a Crosley, plug some speakers into the back and go to the local lido

So Crosleys suck. Are there any portable record players of that kind worth getting?

Anything that has a counterweight on the arm will be fine

Spotted this out in the wild. I managed to negotiate out of buying it along with the 3.5ft cabinet it was screwed to
