I was going to make this thread you premature piece of shit

Matthew Sullivan
>premature piece of shit i believe the proper term is "preemie"
Chase Johnson
Good Morning /daily/!
Today will probably be 13 hours of work but I'm flying back home tomorrow!
The Song Of Morgan part 7 now.
Christian Wright
you're SOOO close! We're all proud of you!!
Jayden Perry
I heard it before once, but thanks! I'm just happy to finalize my Jandek saga in the following days. I would be able to switch to Furwängler full time.
Sebastian Gutierrez
do you think Jandek has altered your mental psyche in any fashion since you started this discographic journey?
Samuel Watson
Well I'm still proud of you anyways :D
Angel Adams
>do you think Jandek has altered your mental psyche in any fashion since you started this discographic journey? Absolutely. There are specific moments in his discography that made me let some things go, get over some things that have been weighing me down and move on with my life. I think listening to the spoken word trilogy while walking around Houston was one of the most memorable musical occurrences in my life.
Brayden Green
Gemma - As Ever
Delightful bandcamp pop-r&b. The album creates a headspace where the music can really just bounce around and play with your senses. It's also charming, not pushy as a lot of r&b has felt in the past to me (don't ask for examples, I don't listen to much r&b). Melody is another thing that is peculiar about Gemma, being particularly unusual but catchy at the same time. 8/10 Listen to this if you're interested, it's a fun album.
Jayden Rogers
Good morning, /daily/
What are you dorks listening to?
I'm listening to Yuki Saito's Love atm and it's p good.
Gavin Hughes
Mornin! I'm listening to Pete La Roca's Basra which is very quickly climbing the ranks into favourite albums territory.
Hudson Brown
It's night here but I'm listening to Band of Susans. Tomorrow is my day off and I'm in a good mood.
Have one last drink before you head into the fabled gf land
Samuel Thomas
Main, I haven't been here for so long I forgot my tripcode so here's to a new one and to a new chart. Gonna start a new experimental hip-hop chart for the months. Any recs?
Listening to Soso - Tinfoil on the Window.
Oliver Mitchell
I keep forgetting the fuccboi tag
Basra is good stuff. It's not a favorite of mine but I can definitely get why it's becoming one of yours. I should listen to some Band of Susans stuff sometime. How're you liking it? What's that like?
Ryan Long
Amazing actually. Listened to it for the first time last weekish and kinda instantly fell in love. Post-rock meets spoken word hip-hop that focuses mainly on the artist's alcoholism.
Lucas Morgan
Wew lad. That sounds interesting. Gotta check that stuff out sometime.
Jace Reyes
New listens - thoughts of the day.
What should I listen to next ( ) ?
Luis Sullivan
music is good but fuck i'm sad
Kevin Howard
GREAT OP image
What is robby's bandcamp?
So many 4+ scores. You're having a good time! I hope you feel less sad soon. Listen to Smog- the doctor came at dawn (if you feel like reveling in your mood)
Andrew Jackson
Pan TON already
D: what's up Kevin?
Ryder Price
you know that whole theory thing where you hear about something and afterwards it seems more and more prevalent
like when you start to notice everyone else driving your car after you get a new one
this is how I feel about smog
Hudson Gomez
>So many 4+ scores. You're having a good time! nah i just overrate everything
I read a thing and it made me feel but I'm okay now. gonna sleeb soon which should help even more
Robert Long
Can you share thing
Kevin Cooper
wow loveless isn't nearly as good as i remember it being...
Monster Magnet - Dopes to Infinity (1995) >stoner rock, space rock
It seemed like this would be the kinda stoner rock that's right up my ally, both from the whole spaciness that seems to be a big part of it, and the fact that it starts of really promisingly, but this is buttrock through and through. Granted, it's buttrock that does get interesting spacy sometimes and buttrock that has some pretty good and heavy riffs, but there's just really nothing here that hasn't been done 100x better by a band like Kyuss. And when they get softer and more acoustic it's just plain ol' bad. I'd listen to it again, but it's just overall pretty bland.
2.0-
that's such a good album, i'm glad it's one of yer favorites!
James Sanders
What did you read kev
Jeremiah Campbell
but overrating is fun! it makes you feel like you have good taste! i does leave that depression of never getting to slam terrible albums though
anyone got an album I can give a 3/10 or less?
Noah Ward
Hey man, nothing good comes from being sad. Put on a fake smile and stop saying you're anything but content with your life - it's amazing how you can reprogram your brain. Fake it til you make it, baby.
Also listen to Andrew Hill and look up pictures and videos of pigs..... what, that only works for me???
Henry Jenkins
Same thing happened to me with smog. I think I'd seen the album art on a few charts, and then I listened to a bunch of sshx's favorite records because sshx has good taste, and smog was at the top. Then a few months later (prolly more like a year) smog was popping up in every daily tournament
Cooper Martin
>anyone got an album I can give a 3/10 or less? King Crimson- Discipline Scientifically proven to be a 3/10
Asher Moore
aaaaaaaaaaaaghhh it appears three times in this post this is some ebola levels of contagious shit where do I start
Ian Lewis

Cooper Powell

Owen Rodriguez
Just listen to it m8 Only way to lift the curse
Jayden Scott
I will tomorrow, but it is 2am and I'm off to bed.
Julian Morales
Reminder that I still have the most overrating curve of all time. Also, see this chart I might start sometime soon for most likely bad music. Can't even share the name?
;_;
Jackson Moore
lmao i'm actually super hype if you follow through with that chart.
Josiah Rodriguez
what's smog?
Xavier Morales
We'll see if I do. Hopefully it doesn't kill me.
Gavin Rogers
So here's my chart for the month. Need recs to fill it out.
I'm really glad I'm not the only one who hates that Anohni album.
Ethan Myers
He made this record, an increasingly revered album of mine

Good morning, /daily/! I am scrounging for underground Danish music on Bandcamp. Already found some fun stuff. Today I will write more on my exam report and also listen to another Japanoise thing, I think.
What are your plans?
>getting to slam terrible albums though I could never get into this.
oh my god can you add Alien Rap to the list? never listened to it but if you're walking into an og kids bop with a frowny face then how y'all living
hahahahaaa holy shit how are they gonna do i took a pill in Ibiza I tried to chill with some pizza To prove avicii I was cool and when I finally ate dinner I felt ten years full but hey that was some delicious food
btw anyone really like that song I think we're in a pop renaissance right now
Jackson Jones
>What are you dorks listening to? Pic related Don't worry lads, about to plug my phone in
Jacob Perry
Hey m8s, get in the plug.
Andrew Phillips
JAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ do Dolphy's Out To Lunch pls
Easton Jenkins
>btw anyone really like that song I think we're in a pop renaissance right now Truth. I find myself enjoying pop about a billion times more than I ever have before. Lyrical content can now at least be somewhat interesting and at least on the electronic side there is minor experimentation going on. It's still mostly trash, but its shinier trash.
Lincoln Reed
Nyan what did you do to the beautiful Blackplayer it looks terrible JB I found this
Matthew Taylor
>Jazz-Punk Quintet interesting List is full so won't add Alien Rap but I can make another chart where I listen to nothing but memes. This is on my backlog because of sync. Will have to check it out sometime. Will do after shower
Jordan Kelly
First of all >Nyan Second of all, I didn't do anything to it
Michael Wright
The tags are a bit misleading. I guess there is a punch aesthetic to the and release of the album but it has not shown up in the music yet. It is more jazz rock than anything to do with punk.
Elijah Torres
autocorrect
Gavin Reed
why do humans have to feel sadness
Brandon Flores
>This is on my backlog because of sync. Will have to check it out sometime. Do! Though I prefer Perfect Teeth to Imperial (if my opinion matters)
Michael Hughes
Ooh orde, dankie! Ek sal dit uit tjek.
Logan Allen
no shame, inb4 people start implying implications
Blake Collins
because otherwise we wouldn't know what happiness is it's soul-making, look up Iranaeus and John Hick

Afrikaans is so funny, gives me sort of an idea what Dutch must look like to an English person
They're good, but there's still a lot that needs to be explored from my end as well.
Michael Perry

Aaron Wilson
"I Don't Love You" is my favorite track off there. Not a bad album at all.
Jordan Ross
GET IN PLUG YOU DUMBOS
Ah. Still seems cool. No it does not
(just kidding Nyar, your opinions are always important :D) >implies implications As in shoegaze exploration? Yeah same for me.
Henry Powell
is this transgod either way you're never alone idk, Sharpest Lives and Cancer are kinda underappreciated. it's a bit polished for my tastes but it's a really well put together album.
Jaxon Young
>As in shoegaze exploration? Yeah same for me. the lot of it is mediocre-to-okay, but there's some pretty great stuff to be uncovered when you look hard enough
Easton Martin
Doen jou Nederlands praat? Ek wou hoeveel sien ek kon in dat taal understan.
>tfw fucc up mem response damn Yeah I figure a lot of it would be rip offs or just bland but the great stuff is certainly great.
Liam Bell
jep, geboren en getogen in Holland. ik ben benieuwd of Nederlands ook zo makkelijk te lezen is voor Afrikanen als andersom.
Jordan Cook
EP of the year, boi
Yeah, even Love Agenda isn't exempt from lackluster tracks despite it's strong opener. Mortimer was right, blowing your load too early on an album really can affect the flow
Cameron Mitchell
It definitely is. It is a fun jazz rock record, with sweet sax parts. No idea why the track titles have been translated (poorly) into English, though.
Ryan Ortiz
Why isn't it more common for people to put butts on album covers? This is something I feel strongly about
Also I'm listening to Les Rallizes dénudés playing acoustic music and it is like nothing I've heard from them before
Liam King
>Have one last drink before you head into the fabled gf land I'll have a few in the airport tomorrow. She said she'll meet me at the airport. That's so sweet.
Thomas Nguyen

Jason Ward
hmm, ek kan die meetse van dit lees, net 'n paar woorde is vreemend. nederlandse lyk soos mal afrikaans vir me, gagaga. totsiens, vriend en baie geluk
Jonathan Gray
Really enjoyed this. Wasn't absolutely life changing like some had me believe but definitely a good introduction to the genre. The percussion especially was pretty unbelievable. Also added all the recs to my chart.
John Wright
huh, I never took any special notice of the percussion on there, was too invested in Coltrane's playing. Probably a good sign to listen to this again since I didn't see the magic that so many others do
Juan Cook
One sick, twisted, evil son of a bitch? Or just dead eyed and love starved?
Henry Peterson
He actually seems to have a rich social life. Huge sweetheart too. So pretty much just a good troll
Colton Ward
Decent score and yeah it's definitely a great intro to jazz.
Adrian Rodriguez
When they take from you the only thing that matters, can you continue to live? When they extinguish the light of your life, is it worth it to keep breathing? Is it worth it to hope that the light will return? Or shall you resign yourself to live in darkness once again and forevermore? This emptiness burns your insides like a corrosive acid. How much more can you endure?
Landon Powell
Les Rallizes dénudés - Mizutani >medium 6 This album has a better recording quality than their other albums (or at least, those that I've heard). And you can certainly hear the influence from The Velvet Underground, it seems very direct to me. However, similarly to the Velvet Undeground post-WL/WH, it seems that when LRD are more traditional, they are less good. As such, "The Last One" is probably my favourite track on this release, and the acoustic pieces that precede it don't have any particular quality to them that makes them significantly relistenable to me.
Robert Martinez
