Nocte Obducta.

Their album Sequenzen Einer Wanderung is prog rock. If you want one of their heavy albums, check out Nektar 2. You might have to look Nektar up on its own, if i remember right that album doesn't show up on their discography on spotify, it's it's own upload

I'll go check out, thanks

>spotify

Well, I'm high-jacking my sister's account, it's pretty good if you're not home desu

No prob, it's my favorite band.

Not desu, *desu

I found an album by dream theater ? Is that it ?
I thought it was pretty cool si far, i guess i truly am a new fag

Definitely check out these two OP

Right now I'm re-listening to Nirvana's In Utero, it's really brilliant. Check it out if you haven't already.

>I found an album by dream theater ? Is that it ?
yes

I feel like this is exactly what the world needs:
Dream Theater is getting a digital board game based off of their latest album The Astonishing.
It's in development right now and will be available soon for iOS and Android
as a free download with additional content available as in-app purchases.
Help the princess find her music player and save the kingdom from tyranny!

Ok, i'll do ASAP
I've listened to some songs here and there but never the whole album, i'll do so

Eh, I used to like Dream Theater when I was new on Sup Forums too, you'll grow out of it. As you can see (), they get shilled on here.

>train
Funeral by Arcade Fire is the perfect traveling music, highly recommended

Not impossible, i tend to enjoy everything that is new to me, so we'll see in a few weeks

>Eh, I used to like Dream Theater when I was new on Sup Forums too, you'll grow out of it.
I actually dont particularly like it but I still insist its aotysf

Wow the first song je really cool, i hope the rest is the same

Neighborhood 3 (Power Out) is the best track by the way

youtube.com/watch?v=dgkgTA7COkg

this guy knows what's up

I'll tell toi guys when i get to it

It is indeed the best one

Aesop Rock is perfect for long trips imo

Do you have a song or an album I should listen to first ?
Or should I just listen to the most recent album of theirs ?

I'm starting alcest's album
It sounds really dreamy, it's nice
Plus, he's French so, always happy to discover artists from your country

He's a white rap artist, known for being very articulate (people often joke that he raps out of a thesaurus, I'll leave that for you to decide). His latest album "The Impossible Kid" was pretty great, you can probably start there.

Nice, some rap, I've been wanting to discover new ones, eminem Kendrick etc... Started to bore me a bit recently

SATANIC TRIPS

Bob Dylan's Shadows in the Night is pretty good for long rides, but only if you want something brooding and sort of dark-ambient

WAIT THOSE ARE QUADS????
AHHH

Quads actually
Well, usually prefer things that are more light hearted but I'll check it out later anyway, always nice to discover new stuff

Definitely listen to Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavillion if you haven't yet, it's a great psychedelic album. I can almost guarantee that the first song will blow you away.

this is a comfy thread
its obvious that you're a pleb but you seem open minded and happy to be listening to this music
it reminds me of when i was still going through the classics and loving everything, what happened :(

you started worrying about things like being "pleb"

nah, i'm still a big fan of "pleb" music
just called op a pleb because its generally the term for people who haven't pursued listening music as a hobby as autistically as most on Sup Forums

ah, i understand

its so hard to tell irony now

how

I'll do
Well I'm not denying it I listen to a lot of shit and I like it, but lately I've been struggling with finding new stuff, so I decided to take a shot on Sup Forums
Works great so far

Tbh

You should listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye if you haven't yet. Even if you don't like him as a person, it's still a great album.

I actually have no opinion on him or his music, I mean, I've seen the dumb tweets but that's it
I'll listen to make myself a proper idea
Is the life of Pablo any good ?

youtube.com/watch?v=cbreFmRDN3E

It's disjointed, and has some moments of greatness but also some verses like:
>Now if I fuck this model
>And she just bleached her asshole
>And I get bleach on my shirt
>I'mma feel like an asshole

Definitely start with MBDTF, his most consistent release imo.

in my opinion it is. its not a game changer, but its a nice comfy album, much comfier than MBDTF

Well then, ill start with MBDTF first and the life of Pablo another time

Múm - Awake on a Train

Seriously

Added to the waitlist
Is the rest of the album worth listening or just this one song ?

I've started the album of sonic youth that was suggested, it sounds like a smoothier, cleaner version of green day, and I like green day (even tho it must be considered pleb)
So overall, it sounds good

The rest of the album is certainly worth listening to.

It's probably in my top 20

Ok, ill add it too

youtube.com/watch?v=qnovJpnhygI

Nujabes and Fat Jon are essential traincore

I'm off the train, it's been a really fun ride thanks to you, you can keep posting stuff I'll listen to it when I can
