Acid Mt Fuji
Destroy All Monsters! 74 - 76
Autechre in general
I don't know man this kind of shit is very danceable

...

Metronomy isn't completely danceable but is 100% normie friendly,
plus that bass gives me a chub

play Kendrick and watch whitey squirm

tame impala

Play pic related

Liquid Liquid
ESG

i don't know how to interact with non anime girls

Take traditionally danceable snippets from LCD Soundsystem discography

Slip in a little Phantogram if you can stomach it

Play some softer/slower Unknown Mortal Orchestra to wind the night down

i'm rooting for you user

Anyone know of any currently trendy vowelless bands? They're usually tolerable and fairly popular.

Old Boots
New Dirt

SBTRKT?

DTHGRPS?

>Destroy All Monsters! 74 - 76
>People actually forming a conga line to Conga
You are autistic user, but thats a good one.

the bass needs to be more gratuitous. like a WHUUUUMMMPPPP BHUMPP (high hat) BHUMPHF BHUMPF (high hat) (high hat)

You are a savant.

...

MSMR is sort of recent

>Song-Artist format

what a petty thing to comment on it's a fantastic party playlist

This, trap, and EDM unfortunately. Anything else will get you laughed out of there.

When everyone's drunk enough, you could probably slip in some Death Grips or Future Funk.

The Strokes

>tfw you'll never hear One More Time come on at a party

The Strokes.
Kendrick.
Some little kid MJ.
Stevie Wonder.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Tame Impala.

No one dislikes signed sealed delivered or superstition, no one dislikes the strokes' hits either.
Don't overthink it, a song normies don't like won't make them lose the mood.
My experience is having a 3:5 ratio of songs people know at least.
Other two just has to be poppy and accessible.
Also in my experience I can throw some LCD soundsystem in there and people dig it, and people can really get into the avalanches, frontier psychiatrist is a fan favorite and that new song "Because I'm Me" is also well received.
Personally I throw some Prince and Bowie in the mix.

Only major rule is to always put a lot of music on there people know, that's it.

this is best advice.

also just grind your teeth and play some pop, who knows, you might like it

if its a normie party just play top hits or something. if it's a specific party i.e kpop, then play that?

Jamie xx - In Colour
