i think Jeff Mangum's work as a sound collage is better than his work as an indie rock musician

On Avery Island is not very enjoyable.

Hey, fuck you pleb

ITAOTS is truly the greatest album ever made

i truly agree with this, not even memeing, b8ing or trolling

Holland 1945 blew me away when i first heard it

OAI>ITAOTS

curious, never really heard this stuff. links?

that was the first song i heard from them, and it blew me away. favorite song is Two Headed Boy pt 2

My first thought when I finished it was "if someone picked this for greatest album of all time, it would be a respectable pick"

Still kind of blows me away that every single line in that song is essential. And that it has a real, emotional core to it but you can still mosh to it. Accomplishing that last part without becoming cringey is a real accomplishment.

this is earliest known NMH recording and features a lot of sound collaging

I want my family to play The Fool on my funeral which is probably going to be soon

For me it was ghost

This is going too far

lyrically their best songs approach the quality of great poetry. that's very rare in pop music. maybe because most musicians are barely literate but it's one of my favorite things about their music.

In the Aeroplane Under the Sea

:^)

you are a god among men

i actually enjoy pree sisters swallowing a donkey's eye

I'm doing some final cleaning, fixing titles and track numbers and such. I have a few more of his songs downloading (Sign the Dotted Line for instance) and then I'll try to start uploading it tonight. I want people who find the band for the first time to have one placed to listen to as much of Jeff's work as possible. The "NMH phase" is always too rough.

i'm still in my NHM phase, because i'm still discovering new music from Jeff

here's just one of the many singles that will be included, Ptolemaic Terrascope no 21 - untitled

Aeroplane has been one of my favorite albums for years, and I've never heard this. Thought I'd exhausted his whole catalogue. I can't wait to see what you've put together user.

Seriously, thank you.

No problem, here's another song that will be featured in "Miscellaneous Mangum"
