nothing really patrician about ableton, it's basically the gold standard right now. not really that familiar with logic.

i'd say:

plebeian: ableton
contrarian: fl studio
patrician: bitwig

Logic is a simpler alternative to Pro Tools. If you are a solo singer songwritter there isn't really any need for Live.

You're actually a patrician if you make really good music on garageband or audacity.

A) Audacity is every category, including patrician
B) yeah making good music with Garageband is pretty damn impressive (see Cross) but 99.99...% of its users are 12 year olds
