That's not backpedaling. Those aren't mutually exclusive assertions. Yes USPM is too vanilla to fit into any other proper style it's an amalgam of, but just because that sound is in itself rather unique doesn't mean it's any good. Is it really that hard to understand? USPM is bland, unoriginal (yes I used the word again) and lukewarm moreso than any other PM scene. It's very special in that respect. Doesn't mean it's a selling point.

I already didn't like the on CD, but I thought seeing what they do live might be worth something, so they start playing, I had a good spot, and they all wore armor, the armor was made of rubber though, and the singer and bassists armor was constantly bending and not sitting properly, so there was a huge dent in the armor all the time and it looked funny.
The new singer sounded fucking shit lie and the brickwall of their latest album does not translate at all into live shows.
